True... non-looping steel does include a very wide range of coaster designs...

I have heard more about this park, the park's name will be call Freedom Land, the park will have one wooden roller coaster and not two. The wooden coaster will be 85 feet high and be called wooden Whirlwind and the steel coaster will be a 200 foot hyper coaster but I don't know how it would look like. The roller coaster will be called Sucicide. Also there will be a 2 mile chair lift ride that takes around the park, 5 water rides; including a flume, pool, slides, a river raft ride, and bumper boats. There will be a 5 mile train ride that takes you around the park and it could hold about 150 people per train. There will be a little kiddie car ride and the track design will based on the Switchback roller coaster which was build in Mauch Chunk and was Americans first roller coaster. The park will also have a lot of kiddie rides, and about 15 thrill rides. It will have one thearte, 1 regular family food place, 10 different food stands, a 25 room 5 floor hotel, and 25 arce parking lot and there will be about 5 museums in the park. One of them will be the history of Mauch Chunk and the other one will be history of the thrill rides. No word what the other three will be. But plans are started but the park's construction will start in about 5 months. The park should be done in about 2007. For more information please visit www.rollercoasternews.com
Yeah...I believe that. Sure, I do.

What family park wouldn't want a coaster named Suicide?

Give me a break.

Is it just me, or does all this info sound just way out there? I dont think any park would ever name a ride "Suicide". And the rest is just very unbelievable. Until I see something official, this is all taken with a grain of salt.

Will this park close after 5 years and send all its rides to the Great Escape and Cedar Point?

Sounds like a whole bunch of money to be throwing out on a place that is so close to it's competition.
Good one, Chernabog! Then they'll build apartments on the land when the rides are gone!

I just heard about the VERY SAME NEW PARK from my uncles step-brothers Baby-sitters best friends cat! It will have the largest parking garage in the world and will cost exactly $32.95 for admission. It will have over 100 large sized trees and a three level food court. I heard that It will be the CEWELLEST park in the world after the build a new rollercoaster for their second season. It will be a prototype from B&M&S&S (which will be a totally NEW company!) that will go over 300 miles per hour and top out at 999 feet! I can't wait because I live in PA as well.

It's all totallty true-and I allready have a recreation of it on my RTC2 game.

Yeah guys, I think this guy is taking you al for a ride. And without a factual link, I think this topic should go bye-bye.

I didn't make this up this may not be true but I saw it on www.hpwpa.tk sorry about the wrong link last time.
All the serious investors look for sites that have a .tk domain and connect through pagebuilder.yahoo.com.

Edit: Moreso than being exceptionally irritating a stupid, the links provided keep getting more and more bizarre. Coasterbuzz needs a karma system.

To get this on the right topic. The only new park I know of coming to PA is Twin Grove Park in Pine Grove. The place is a campground now and did have an amusement park 20 years ago or so. I sent an e mail to them earlier this summer and this is the reply I recieved.

"Hello! Yes we will have an Amusement Park here.No it will not be ready for this camping season .We hope to have our first rides(about 8) of them up and running next year.We will have a carousel,a helicopter ride and more.Thank you for inquiring! Tammy"

I don't think were going to see any major coasters, but it will at least be a new park. I believe they have a Circle Swing in storage, and they are refurbishing an old train ride as well. A perfect stop between Hersheypark, and Knoebels at what seems to be the beginings or should i say resurection of a park.
