New Alltel commercial: is it in bad taste?

The best way to end a tug of war is to simply let go of the rope.

No fun in that.

Yeah, especially when you could just use said rope to hang the other person! ;)

It's certainly the most entertaining way . . .

Using a satellite image I added some graphics to show where the family is sitting, where the Alltel guy and kid are as they walk/talk, and the direction the camera is pointing during the scenes of the family on the "grassy knoll.". If anyone would like to host this and reply with a link that would be cool (I don't have a website).

Who has a website? Gonch? :)

EDIT - and here's another link to an aerial shot that might be useful for you guys trying to sort this out.

Last edited by Lord Gonchar,

I think the commercial would have been funnier if somebody on the ride just heaved on the kids.

Great...but since you have your markers out, where can I find the airtime? (small inside joke)... ;)

It's JUST a commercial. I don't see anything negative about it.

Finally, someone gets it. lol

LOL Gator. Notice I did use pink again!

Somewhere, somebody has a Super-8 film of the area in question...

Tempest in a teapot. It's cute, interesting, and it furthers the story arc of the New Chad. Nobody else beside we enthusiasses is even going to pay it (low zone violations in a commercial) a moment's thought.

Right and too bad that they are the same company now....

If anyone has a picture of that particular spot by the coaster, please post it.

It was 2009, so....

And now I don't even remember Alltel...

ok, forget that, keep moving!

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks Jeff's doing this just to make the case for him.
