New 3D coaster simulator in development for PC

Posted | Contributed by Andrew

Roller Coaster Simulator is another new PC application designed to do what the name implies. You will be able to build a roller coaster and then ride it. You can build different types of coasters including sitdown and inverted. Also you can build a coaster with different types of track such as B&M, Schwarzkopf and Vekoma. Demo will be released on Semptember 15, full version around the end of the year.

Read all about it on the Roller Coaster Simulator site.

Sounds cool! I cant wait

This game looks incredible. I'll buy it the day it comes out, guaranteed.

Kind of high requirements! My PC is 400 mhz with direct 3D. It will probably not work with my 1 year old PC!
Actually, the real title of the game is "No Limits". Not Roller coaster simulator. And it DOES look incredible!
If this game and RCT were to be combined, it would make RCT's 91% rating go to 100%!

I am going to def. buy this one when it comes out. It is a sure hit. I love the timing control and the brake runs that actually can work.

The best part is the game might be free.:)
I don't think this game will be free. This sounds like there will be a whole lot more than what Ultra Coaster is, and Ultra Coaster is 20 bucks.

What strikes me as cool is the accurately modeled track. You can very distinctly pick out the Arrow, Vekoma and B&M track. I have a feeling this thing just ain't gonna run on a video card older than a year, though!

Yes but that would mean it still would cost money.
