Neverland...

It's not listed on rcdb, it's never been officially open to the public, from what I understand.

Check behind the dumpster on Sunset Blvd...

"I just came here from Deep River, Ontario and now I'm in this... dream place!"

"I get even more scared.. then I realize what it is, there's a man in back of this place, creating this fear. He's the one that's doing it. I can see him through the wall. I can see his face. I hope that I will never have to see that face ever outside of a dream. That's it."

"Silencio..."

Yes, no hints here(or is there?). Just a shameless TR plug for one of my favorite movies, Mulholland Drive (a movie a lot more confusing than this MTR situation for some ;)).

But *I* never even once "piled on". No 15-yard penalty flag for the gator....at least not in THIS thread, lol. I kept it perfectly clean as far as references to 'Moosh are concerned. As far as MJ, he's *fair game*....;)

When I saw Mullholland Drive in the theatre It confused me so much that I had to leave halfway through it, go to the bathroom and scream obscenities at the urinal cakes.

I thought Mulholland Drive was the most accessible Lynch feature I've seen.

'It's weird to be calling myself.'

'I've even got love for Canada'- Har Mar Superstar 'Brand New Day'

Although I find The Straight Story to be much more accessible in general, I wouldn't exactly call it a "Lynch" feature, so I agree.

Try Lost Highway on for size Sanders... and you may find another reason to yell obscenities at Robert Blake. ;)

Rumor has it Disney was considering that theme for the DCA mouse but when with Mulholland Madness instead.

Way off topic, but . . .

It was hard to to watch The Ring and wonder when Naomi Watts was going take off her clothes.

Damn you David Lynch.

Makes sense...Wasn't the Straight Story a Disney film?

I believe that the Straight Story is also one of M:TR's favorites. ;)

CDaD - I found it harder to watch her suffer with that horrid script in The Ring. Ack-tacular!

Chris:

I'd have to agree. What's with the Aussies and their soap stars? Whatever they feed the women down there, they should ship some this way.

Yes Chris, TSS was released by Buena Vista/ Disney and Mulholland Drive was released by Universal although it was originally supposed to be a pilot episode (the entire "dream" sequence) to a TV show until ABC pulled it.

Luckily, Lynch went on to make a full feature (added "real life") of it. Too bad the Academy didn't notice it much... but since when do they nominate movies that are actually that good. ;)

CoasterDad, "Just forget you ever saw it. It's better that way." =op

-Danny, who actually liked The Ring (watch crap horror like Feardotcom, Halloween 8, and Ghost Ship to appreciate)

"Silly Naomi"
