Never got to ride

I missed out on Medusa at SFGAdv opening year because I was too chicken. I thought I would've been brave enough after riding Volcano at PKD, but I wasn't up for it. I haven't been back ever since.

WDWCP - Spring 2006 - Entertainment
The Grizzly, Volcano The Blast Coaster (was closed!), Avalanche, and Rebel Yell (forward).

I wasn't as much of an enthusiast as I was back in '99 (though I was interested) and I didn't care too much about ride counts and actually having experienced as many coasters as I can.

Vortex, Greezed Lightnin' (now it's gone!), The Grizzly at Paramount's Great America. I only had enough time to squeeze in Top Gun, Invertigo, Drop Zone Stunt Tower and Stealth (it was new for the season when I visited and I HAD to ride it despitite its 2+ hour wait - now I'm glad I did since it's now in the Carolinas).

The Jumbo Jet at Cedar Point, and The Bat at PKI. I saw them several times in my younger days, but every time I was at the parks, they were closed.

MLEM4S STILL rules

Shockwave at SFGAM. It was closed when I was there in 2001. Too bad too because I love arrow loopers.

The Millenium Force ride Ops: Squishing you where it counts since 2000. Track Record: 89 coasters
I would have to say Drachen Fire at BGW. I was there in the June of 1992 but sadly was still a coasterphobe and didn't ride it:( By the time I finally made it back 10 years later, it was gone.
I've been to WDW three times and have yet to ride Space Mountain. Twice when I was young and scared and the last time was when I was 16, and it was shut down for rehab.:(

Dang! I just realized that was 13 years ago! :( Turning 30 in a couple months is going to be rough.

Was never tall enough to ride the Jumbo Jet and CP before it was removed. My older sisters got ride but not me.
Bitter?
Oh... a tad.

The dead do not poo.

When I was in college, the family made a trip to BGW that I passed on. They rode Drachen Fire, I never did.

In terms of actually walking by something and not riding it, and now it's no longer there, the Jumbo Jet at Coney Island comes to mind. I haven't ridden Viper and the Robin side of Chlller at Great Adventure, but at least both of those are still there so I can still theoretically ride them.

VIPER at SFMM, granted it isn't closed down, the first time I went I was 7 or 8, and thought that 7 inversions was too much for my little stomach. Went back this year, after riding X, family kind of wanted to leave, and figured since I had ridden Shockwave at SFGAm, it was no real loss. no worries though.
Jack Rabbit and Wild Cat at Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio. Darned "fear of big coasters" at age 10. The Comet and Blue Streak at Meyers Lake Park, in Canton, Ohio. But the park closed when I was 2. So not fair.

End of whine.

Just launch the train...and nobody will get hurt!
Idora Park...I missed the coasters by ONE DAY! ("I didn't know the park is closed Monday's....we'll come back when we pass through next year") Saw but didn't ride DOdonpa, Windjammer, Drachen Fire.

TTD, it was closed the 2 days I was there, also Space Mountain in Florida, it also was closed when I went.

Let's shoot us some deer Joe Joe!!!!

Comet Flyer, Whalom Park. My sister lived about 2 miles from this park for a while in Mass. We went by the park, went walking on the boardwalk near the park. Saw the coaster a few times, but alas, never got to ride. Looks like I may never get to ride now...:(
Drachen Fire, I will miss you, I went there 5 times when i was little and I was able to ride two years out of those five but I didn't. Heck my grandma rode it but I never got too.
I haven't riden the Batman (which I hear is the better) track of the Chiller. Hopefully it will be working in 2004.
I'm probably gonna take a beating for saying this but for me it's Hercules. My wife and I were supposed to go to Dorney but only got as far as Hershey. That's how it goes I guess. I also wish I could have ridden Drachen Fire!

SOB's biggest fanboy!
I really hated this when it happened. ok it was 2001 and we lived in gurnee, Illinois and went to six flags great america a million times a year. I was getting ready to move over seas to japan with my family. My dad said he would get me on Deja Vu if we had to go ever day to see if it was opened(in 2001 they said it would be finished and ready to ride my the summer) then it was the day V2 was first opened and i got to ride it (i was one of the first cars of the day!!! :) ) deja vu wasn't even close to opening and that was in...I think may??? (not for sure) anywho, it was july something and we went for the last time and the deja vu name plate wasnt on the rides not operating for today sign so we (my dad and I) ran as fast as we could to Deja Vu and then we had to wait 3 hours and then eventually they declared it wouldnt be operating that day. I WAS SO MAD. them then the next week we moved over seas and when we move back to the states I am destined (corny I know....LOL) to ride Deja Vu...

Greezed Lightnin' at SFKK. It was on the Stark Raven Mad trip. I was there in the morning and went on everything but it. It was closed until about 1 I heard. It was hot and I just wanted to get out of there to go to Holiday World so I left at 12. 2 hours was plenty for me!

Actually it is two rides for me. The Bat at PKI (KI at that time). And Drachen Fire at BGW. There is a feeling that something is missing when you go to a park, and see a coaster that is always closed. When the Bat was still standing I was about 8 - 11 years old and my family went to KI once a year and everytime it was down.

FYI- If anyone has not been on Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park in PA, you may want to get there asap. CLP has had serious money problems for the last few years and even though someone seems to come through with funding for the summer months, there is a good chance (which is unfortunate) that the park may cease to exist in the near future.
