Nemesis Inferno soft opening & pics

Just thought I'd pass the word on that Nemesis Inferno has more or less opened, and there are some excelent shots of it in operation here: http://www.thorpeparkguide.com/parktour/rides/nemesisinferno/gallery/index.shtml

And, might I add, what a postively amazing looking inverted coaster. Great job Thorpe Park!

Nice photos. I almost forgot about this ride. It was getting a lot of attention a few months ago but then it sort of dropped off the radar. Came together very nicely. Great compact layout, nice themeing, and a cool gift shop.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Jeebus that's a short ride. Anybody else find that queue confusing as hell?

This is an amazing coaster. I wish it was in the u.s. If only kennywood had room in the valcano section, this would be a perfect addition to the park if they had room. Good Job to Thrope Park.
It might have a long wait like batman: the ride.

Can't see how that would be bad in any way. Nemesis is a great coaster (and shorter than Inferno). Let's also not forget about Batman and Top Gun (PGA).
Talk about theming, good lord! Great job Thorpe Park.

Outstanding ending and start. I wish the One Click guys would've included the drop out of the station and the trip to the lift.

Roller Coasters....A natural high......FEEL THE BUZZ!!!

I am definitely not one to love short coasters (lengthwise, not so much height) but wowza! For some reason I sat starting at those pics saying "Damn that looks cool!" Thorpe does an amazing job with theming and placement of their rides. I am obsessed with the pre-lift and vertical loop sections of this coaster! Geysers? How f'n cool is that?

YES, I am pleased to say that Nemesis Inferno opened on 4/4/03 on a special Premier Screaming event for season ticket holders. Although the event was good, the ride sadly suffered a few brakedowns, and it was once down for a good 40 mins once(you dont expect that with a B&M Coaster)

Anyway, You can see my review of NI plus some photos from the event at the address below,ENJOY

ah i think the reason they didn't include the first drop was because the mist gets into the camera and it doesn't do good for it... i'm heading on the park on monday or tuesday:)

Great video!
I was wondering, where can i find an ON-ride video of Nemesis?

Was at Thorpe Park today. All the rides were well behaved and I can't remember seeing any breakdowns at all.

Nemesis Inferno is a really, really good coaster. Highlights, for me, include

A drop as good as Batman (although it looks weaker)
The pre-lift trot is tremendous
A great tug out from the vertical loop
The turn out from the inline twist
The flick into the turn between the corkscrews

I took a fair few photos and have a comprehensive critique of the ride at http://www.ukrollercoasters.co.uk/nemesisinferno_main.htm - let me know what you think. Hopefully I'll have a few more photos up soon.

It's a really good ride, and will be spectacular come summer

Cool ride! Here is a picture.http://rcdb.com/installationgallery1747.htm?Picture=10
