Need some info on SFGAm for this week's trip...

Getting ready for my big birthday extravaganza trip!! YAY!!

1) Is Deja Vu running?

2) How much are Fastlanes? How many can you buy?

3) Is there a time deadline for buying an MVP for the next day? We won't be arriving at the park until like 4:30 on Thursday.

4) How early can we get there to get in line for Superman?

Thanks all!

I'll take a pop at this one.

1. No

2. I think its 12 bucks, not sure on the limit

3. Season pass processing center is where you want to go. Take a right when you get into the park. Usually around this time of year, they are open as late as the park which should be 10pm, but get it out of the way right away.

4. Think the parking lot opens are 8am, park opens at 10. Once you get into the park, hang a louie. The line will probably be on the midway till they open the ride. Don't let it fool you. The line is not spilling onto the midway, they just didn't open the que yet.

1) As of Friday, no.

2) Not sure. I never buy them at SFGAm, but you may need them.

3) I'm pretty sure you can buy the MVP all day and night.

4) They usually allow people through the metal detectors at around 9:30. At this point, you can head into the main entry plaza, but can't get on any rides until 10:00. Head to your left to make the dash to S:UF when the ropes drop.

I once saw Chris leaving SFGam just as I was getting into the park. Talk about a close call! Opps...wrong topic ;)

A random Mooshter's Dawntionary listing: Coffee [n.] a person who is coughed upon.

Fastlane is $15.00 per card. Four rides per card.

Fastlanes were 10.00 last season, and 12.00 earlier this year. So unless somethings changed in the last 3 weeks, they should still be 12. I've heard of people buying up to 5. So I don't think there is a limit. They want your money, they'll let you buy them all. They only sell a limited number of them for the whole day.

I believe you cannot buy the MVP until 2 o'clock. But I might be wrong on that.

And yes, Deja Vu is running great. The only problem is that they won't open it until they figure out how to run 2 trains. That is the only known problem on it right now. ;)

If you haven't rode Raging Bull in the back row you haven't lived. The feeling on that first drop cannot be explained in words!

I was there on July 4th and Fastlanes were $15.00. Don't know about a limit. I've never heard of one.

Just to make sure, you're kidding about Deja Vu, right?

Since when is D.V. running? I didn't even see any trains on it on Friday.

Obviously he is kidding about DejaVu. Did you see the face that meant he was kidding after his post?

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Deja Vu / Mr. Freeze (tie)

Hello? TWO trains on Deja Vu? Of course it was a joke!! DV has not operated all season. A multimillon-dollar lawn ornament. Pretty green color, though...

Maybe I should cut my projection to 109, since the 110th would be Deja Vu at SFGAm!

------------------
Projected count for 2003: 32 parks & 110 coasters. Actual as of 6/30/03: 20 parks & 78 coasters.

I was at the park yesterday (July 7th), and there was hardly anyone there. I arrived around two, thinking that the lines would be outragously long, yet the line for Raging Bull was only 20 minutes. I pretty much walked on everything else, except Superman, which was broken down towards the end of the day, so I didn't get to ride it.

I don't want you to get to giddy about short lines and small crowds, but it was really weird yesterday.

Deja Vu is down again. For some reason I feel like I already experienced this......
