I'm taking my first trip to Michigans Adventure this coming Friday. We plan to arrive at the park by 12ish, and the park closes at 7. I've already checked the park info and the parks homepage but I was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback on the park. What rides should I ride (Coasters or not)? Where should I eat? How are the lines?
Thanks!

Well for Food you really dont have much choices there. The Wildmouse is a really fun and compact coaster. Chaos is a really cool spin-n-puke. The swings ride actually is quite fun. And the scrambler was among the fastest ones I have been on. Of the rollercoasters...they are all good rides. But Shivering Timbers is the best (IMO). Ride in the front for forceful ejector seat type airtime. Back for whiplash airtime. Pretty much good air in all seats.

Welcome to Deja Vu...home of the world wide wait.
I agree with beast7369 on almost everything. The only thing I would say is that we did not like Wolverine Wildcat. It runs very rough and there's little airtime.
I'll add that talking with people at TimberFest, the second seat on ST is considered by many to be the ejector seat. As beast7369 said, the front is more ejector/floater air whereas the back is more whiplash air.
Zach's Zoomer was our surprise ride. It's a small wooden, family coaster that's fun to ride. I hesitate to call it a kiddie coaster because it's slightly bigger than most kiddie coasters and we could almost sit in the same seat. We opted to sit separately for a more comfortable ride.

Wait a day! I am going saturday which sucks because I might have to wait 10 min. for Shivering Timbers! Honestly though, I doubt you will have to worry about lines. I was there on a sun. last fall and it was empty. Only got up to a one train wait for the Timbers running one train. I hope the crowds won't be too bad on sat! The water park gets MUCH more crowded than the amusement park, if you are wondering. I might sugggest doing a picnic because the food isn't that great over there. I'll be getting my season pass on sat. for only 90 bucks! Good at CP!

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Thanks for your help everyone.
Virtually no lines will be something new to me, and I could get used to that =]

I usually hit the waterpark right when it opens at noon and it is usually pretty dead 'til about 2 when everyone decides they are hot and want to cool down. Then, when everyone is in the waterpark--I hit the rides. Don't miss Shivering Timbers. Skip Wolverine Wildcat if there is any wait at all as it isn't worth it!
