Need info on new Chicagoland park

Hey, longtime lurker – first time poster here…I’ve been searching for info on this for the last few days and haven’t heard anyone mention it yet…I heard briefly on the radio last week here in Chicago that Universal had purchased some land just southeast of here near Merrillville, Indiana (they said it was around 500 acres, presumably for an amusement park). I’m kinda excited by this – SFGAm is great and all, but a Universal park close to home would be fantastic! Has anyone gotten any more info on this? Thanks!PA
Yah know, I could be wrong, but your screen name looks suspiciously like a variation on the term April First...

Looks like Spanish to me...

In all Romance Languages (except French, apparently), "first" is always some varient on "primer" (that's where English gets "premier." Yes, it's odd, but there you are). According to a translator I found on-line, "Primerode" is not Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian. However, it could still be Latin or Romanian. Or some variant of your own design. Oh, and what tipped me off in the first place was that "Abril" is Spanish (and Portuguese) for April. No question there.

Actually, though, I think this is one of the better April Fool's pranks I've seen today. And the name's pretty clever!

;) Primero-de-Abril ;)

First of April, it shouldn't take a Columbian to figure that one out...

(SF)GA, Primerode looks like Primero De to me ("first of" in Spanish and probably other languages)

It'd be an interesting story if it was true though!

Ok, you got me. Great American wins first prize, with a bonus point to Jimmybob for being close on the spanish part. I didn't think someone would pick up on it so quickly though! I guess Buzzer's are pretty smart :-)

Rumors of a new Chicago park aren't anything new, though. I think we see a new one every 5 years or so since Riverview left. About 1/3 are legit.
