You should have waited to renew and picked up SFKK passes for much cheaper than you paid for SFGAm passesIf I'm not mistaken Six Flags has a rule that you can only get a season pass from a park if you live within 400 miles of the park. Not for sure but I live in Joliet, IL and got a cheaper pass from SFSL. Their people said if I lived over 400 miles from the park I would have to pay the higher price at SFGAM. Has anyone else heard of this?
I live right by you, in Plainfield, IL. SFKK is within 300 miles of my home the way that the website calculates it. (must be within that distance "as the crow flies")
We had SFKK passes last yr (4 of them) and I am able to renew online without even visiting the park for $39.99 and get the 4 hard passes in the mail. Only caveat is a $10.00 s/h fee, but I think it is one fee for all four passes.
Then comes the dilemma of my son being 4 yrs old now and having to get him a pass. (he is 42" now, but I doubt I wil get him to ride the Demon @ SFGAM yet - besides I don't think mommy would let me take her "baby boy" on the Demon yet!)

I got both of my kids on the Demon at 4yrs old and they both loved the ride. Got to follow the Golden Rule.
I have been checking hotels in the Louisville area and I am having no luck finding one with an indoor pool. My daughter insists on an indoor pool so I must obey. :)
Can anyone direct me to some hotels with indoor pools close to the park?
Thanks,,

First of all the hotels are all booked were booked for the weekend of the 27th (which is when we are visitng) in this area becuase of the "Mid america truck show" which is being held right next to SFKK. I called the louisville conv & visitors bureau earlier this week and the person on the phone said basically.... good luck finding a room... let alone a room at a reasonable price. I had to work a little but this is the best deal I found - Executive West... they had originally quoted me $133 nightly. The Exec West is adjacent to the park and they have a "room & ride special" which includes 2 tickets to the park and shuttle there and back for $79.00. I have stayed there before and this a very nice hotel for the money.
They have a nice size pool which I am sure both you and your daughter would love. I hope you'll be able to get the same deal for the weekend you plan to visit.
I will be there the following weekend April 2-4. Hopefully I won't have a problem finding a room at this time.
Thanks for the info.

That's fine. I will be hitting the park both days (Saturday and Sunday) and I also want to check out some other interests in the Louisville area. It looks like the Louisville zoo is just down the highway from the park.
I'll hopefully be there on Sunday, marathoning in Greezed Lightnin' of course :)
And yeah, the Louisville zoo is absolutely wonderful. They have a gorilla feature, including a new baby gorilla that is really just a great exhibit.
I called SFKK and spoke to Guest Relations. Spoke with a lady named Philis and she said my SFGAm pass vouchers were good enough for entry and to go to her to get access to the park.
A plus in the SF column. :)

She even asked me what day and what time I would be there. After I told her, she said she would be working.
