Need help with PKD planning

Has anyone stayed at the Best Western outside of PKD. How nice is it? How about the PKD campgrounds has anyone stayed there. I am trying to decide at which location to stay. Can anyone offer their opinions of the two locations?
Campgrounds are nice, watch out for the bugs...

I agree, the campgrounds are very nice.... I bet if I'd stayed in a cabin, the bugs wouldn't have been quite so severe ;-)
KD's campground has a pool.

How close is PKD's campground. THe best western is just outside the main gate. PKD's information seems to indicate the walk from the campground is a bit of a hike.
I opted for the EconoLodge across the street when I found out that the cabins at the campground do not have a restroom.

The campground is quite a ways, but offers free shuttle service to the park, as does the Best Western across the street. I am staying a week in June, and for the price and convenience, you can't beat the EconoLodge across the street. The Best Western was only a few dollars more a night, but charged $10.00 for a rollaway cot whereas the EconoLodge does not.
I stayed at the Best Western across the street from PKD once back in 1998. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, good or bad. I mean the place was clean and relatively quiet. I dont know about the prices 'cause my parents sprung for that (I was still a poor struggling college student at the time). Best thing was that you could walk to/from the park. After riding Outer Limits and Anaconda back-to-back, my sis and I headed back to the room to rest for a while (it was drizzling too). After the rain let up, we just walked right back to the park (and rode OL:FOF again :)).
