Need help identifying a coaster

I have spent the last year or so Converting 35mm slides to digital on cd and DVD, and I ran across this old family picture. The best I can date the picture is 1984. It had to be in the chicagoland area, so either SFGAm (I don't think) Kiddyland? Santa's Village?

I would love to submit it, but don't know what it is :) Anyone?

If it's form SFGAM then I would ahve to guess Gulf Coaster btu not sure when that operated or if I'm confusing that wiht something else. Maybe the little dipper at Funtown which I think was a kiddy coaster. other than that I really have no idea and those are basically guesses, try rcdb.com though.
Nice outfits! ;) 1984, huh? LOL!

Can't be Gulf Coaster if it's 1984.

I'm thinking it is called Galaxi, the only defunct coaster from Santa's Village in Dundee IL.....I knew no one would really know but figured I would give it a shot....

Little Dipper at Funtown ?

OK, I know from the pictures I saw it is a Herscell Little Dipper. As what Belgian saying It could very well be a picture of Little Dipper at Funtown. I was kinda thinking it was the Kiddy Coaster at SFStL back in 1984 from the photos but I'm not to sure.

How about Little Dipper from Americana or now LeSourdsville Lake?

It's not the SFStL kiddie coaster. It had these trains in '84.

Man, check out that kid in the second to last row of the SFStL pic. Looks like he's ridden that one a few too many times.

Pun is the death of wit.

Patrick K it is definetely not the Galaxi, I believe that was a pinfari, and it was a lot bigger and had better cars.

I would have to say the Gulf Coaster that was in the kiddie area, if not maybe an old time coaster at KiddieLand, but I was born in 85, so they might have taken it out before I turned 4 because I don't remember that coaster at all.
