Nausea By Roller Coasters

have any of you or your family members/friends ever threw up after riding way too many roller coasters?

I have never gotten sick from a roller coaster.

no, i'm askin if you know someone personally that threw up on a coaster, like a friend or your sibling, etc.

My dad almost did at sfgam....

Before we went to the park...we had gone to IHOP for breakfast. We got to the park and wnet to the back to ride raging bull. During the middle of the second ride, my dad said he broke out in a cold sweat and got quite nauseaous. He thought it was his unsettled breakfast...but I dunno.

I don't know anyone personaly that threw up, but I've seen a few people walking in the park that didn't look so good.

I have never thrown up on a ride even when I eat right before i go on a ride. I guess I was just born to ride!!!

Day 1 of MM this year at CP..

I knew something was up that day when I dropped my keys about 6 times on the way from my house to the car. Did Magnum 5 times.. got off and leaned over the side of the exit ramp. Next was Blue Streak.. got off there and ran around to some bushes beside the exit ramp... then some more bushes about 100 ft away. Needless to say, my Dramamine was with me next time.

My brother went on the orbiter(flat ride). Afterwards he just walked over to the trash can and threw up. Don't ask me why he didn't even look the least bit sick. It was funny though. But personally I have never gotten sick on any ride no matter how much I eat right before it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I went to day 3 of Millennium Mania and used Dramamine, well, it didn't work to well. :)

haha, yeah me and my buddy went to BGW years ago in the fall....we skipped school to go...it was back when Drachen Fire was still runnin...we rode it 11 times in a row in the very back row....my buddy Jon got off and was like man that was awesome....then BOOM!!! he hurled all over the station...i know its gross, but man it was stinkin hilarious!!! haha :) for those of you who ever rode DF, then you can understand why that tore his stomach up, hehe :)

I've never threw up due to roller coasters.

But I've heard someone (one of my cousin's friends) threw up twice after riding a 1995 Vekoma SLC (PCW Top Gun) once.

What is really nauseating is riding Millennium Force 60 times in a row in a driving rain with your head down. I would have puked if I had something to puke up.

The only coaster that has ever made me puke is Raptor at CP.

Amen to that one!!! first time at Cedar point and I didnt bring my dramamine. Had to walk around the park the rest of the day trying to survive, my fiance bought me some and I rode like a queen from then on.. One problem I have to od on the stuff... How do you stay awake on dramamine :)?

I never got sick on Raptor until the first time I rode in a row other than the front (I had ridden dozens of times, only in the front row). Not being able to see anything made both me and my wife very ill, though we didn't throw up. Funny thing is, now it's 4 years later and my wife never recovered! She now gets sick on almost all rides; before that ride, she NEVER got sick!
