What you should realize is that people here have reason to question your validity. Why? Because the net makes it SO easy to lie. Simple as that. Some say that you should trust people until they give you a reason not to trust them. On the net, it's a completely different story. It is customary to do the exact opposite. Even once they prove themselves once, the next time, they will have to prove it again. I have a friend who builds coaster models, he's been doing it for years, and until recently lived in Kentucky. I would be very interested in seeing pictures of this model. I will admit, I don't believe you, but I've been around different message boards for years now, and the same stuff goes on, again and again. People show up, claiming to have done something amazing, having no proof of it. Then when asked to give proof, pretend that it is not for them to provide the proof, that we should just blindly believe them, and that they don't care if we beleive them or not. Making up rediculous reasons, as to WHY they shouldn't even bother to show us. Like you saying "i'm not a show off", no one said you had to be, but you made this a reason why you shouldn't show us some proof. Why bother telling anyone about it, if you don't want them to even see it. It stands to reason for this, that you are lying. That is fine, if you want to be a lier, then be one. Just don't bother defending yourself, or calling people synical when they call you what you are. If you like, and have duplicates, send some pictures to me, I will get them on the net for you and send your pictures back. Then you can get some respect.

I hate to jump in on a thread like this, but...
What was the point of passing the info along if you weren't going to share photos? I'm sure you're proud of the work and results of your model but we don't know you. To be blunt, we don't care that you worked hard.
However, many of us would be interested in seeing photos of a fully working model of X. We're coaster enthusiasts, not "air freak" enthusiasts. We'd be interested in the model, we're not exactly jumping for joy over the fact that you built something. If you're looking for approval, tell a family member. If you're looking to share something the people on this forum may be interested in, then share it.
That's why you're getting the negative reaction.

I'd be much more impressed if there were pictures, that way I could honestly compliment you if you did a good job.
Seems kind of silly to me if people were to only repond to this thread by saying "You built a model, good job mate."
I believe you made one, but it's just human curiousity to want to see it.
Here is your award for your "hard work!"
*hands paper documentation stating that everyone here at coasterbuzz is happy about your achievement but would be more satisfied with pictures of your great achievement.
I'm just confused as to why you would post something like this if you didnt have proof to show us. if u worked soo hard at this, wouldnt you want to show it off, furthering then a deep thought provoking post recognizing your model and great achievement. This is why you started the topic correct, to get recognition?

Dropfreak, speak for yourself. I am not jellous, and I'm sure most others here are not either. I'm not quite sure why anyone would stick up for him.....apparently he is lying..... it would be too easy to prove himself.

How can he be a show-off is he isn't really showing any thing off?
Ya know, sometimes is seems like there are some real b*tches on this site, then other times just half-brained morons. Not always though. I know this "X" thing sounds skeptical, but how do we know if he did it or not? Is there any way to go and prove that he didn't do it? It's just a waste of time, and we don't have any proof that he did or didn't do it.

You're right, we don't know..... so why not prove to us, so that we do know?
