I thought I would take a moment to talk about my new RollerCoaster Tycoon projects. Things are subject to change, but I just wanted to publicly annouce this.
Project 1: The Glitchey Trilogy (Lost Continent, Universal America, and this last park) comes to an end: Unnamed Park If you in any way liked Lost Continent and/or Universal America, surprise!, the trilogy comes to an end. This last park will amaze you all...new coasters, new experience, and Spotlight Bound. There are a few screen shots, but other than that...it's all a secret! One more thing...my RCT designing has changed quite a bit since Lost Continent and Universal America...

Not everything can be recreated accuratly with RollerCoaster Tycoon, but I will try just for you all :)
Any comments now?? :)

Your coasters look good, but I don't understand why so many of the "good" RCT designers build parks that you can't open. You know what I mean... the endless expanses of paths that the peeps get lost on. What's the point of building a great looking park if you can't let the peeps in?

That's so true...it's a big controversy at Danimation.com. It seems half of the RCT Fans prefer the parks where peeps cannot get lost and ride all your recreations. The other half prefer parks that look extremely real for RollerCoaster Tycoon's limits. I find it hard to build realistic looking parks with one wide paths for the unfortunately...dumb...peeps in the game. It is nice to see them ride the coasters, but I find it equally nice to create something that looks real and people can look at in amazement. I suppose it just depends on what you like...some of the best spotlights at Danimation are un-openable, yet some of the others can be. It's what you like, just like what you look for in a real park :)

One of these days I need to post some of my parks. I've got some coasters I'm damn proud of! :)

My PGA and SFMW are peep accessible. I like making them this way because I want them to ride my coasters! I actually like to watch them, rather than just watching an empty park.

When I built my Knoebels I found that it was nearly impossible to build it with just a single lane paths running thru the park. When I build a Real park I want it to be a realistic as possible even if it means the peeps can't ride.
If you intrested my Knoebels is here to decide for yourself.

Hello, My name is Dan and I'm a coasterholic.
I don't like it when peeps cant ride. I see all of my cool coasters sitting there, begging to be rode.

I think it's pointless to make a park the peeps can't enjoy themselves in, but if they weren't so stupid, they wouldn't get lost so easily. I think if Sawyer makes RCT2, then he should definitely give them at least half a brain.

You can't make a REALLY realistic park without doing this method...I'm very sorry, but I can't help how stupid the peeps are, hehe

I have a "really realistic" cedar point, and no one gets lost!!!!!!! Any one want it?

I don't even try anymore to recreate real parks because there are so many things you can't do on the game that are at real parks. When it is not perfect or pretty darn close if frustrates me and I demolish the whole park. But I guess that is what you get when you are part perfectionist.
I made a 'non-real' SFGAm 2001 park. It's already up on RCT Station. Here's the link:
http://rct.gametropics.com/drealparks2.shtml. It's the one called Six Flags Great America - 2001.

Glitch, where is your SFGAm park at? I would really like it. Thanks
IM DETERMINED TO MAKE THE BEST MICHIGANS ADVENTURE. I JUST STARTED AND IT SHOULD BE DONE IN A WHILE.
Why there isnĀ“t any SFGAdv recreations out there??
I mean I live in Mexico, and its hard to recreate a park from when youre 5000 miles away and that I have never visited. Please if you know where I can find it, give me a link.
Thanx
PS: Im planning to go to SFMM this summer but I dont know when will X open, can someone tell me?
http://rct.gametropics.com/ has a good recreation of SFGAdv
What they need to do (Hasbro) is take RCT online. Everybody that logs on can either create a park or contol a peep that visits other parks and spends his money riding the rides he wants too no matter what the intensity!!
Hey Glitch, I thought I would bump this up, how is that Great America recreation coming along? If it is done I would like it if you could send it to me.

It's still in the works, I need a few coaster layouts, then more construction will move along :-)
