Yesterday I went to Nickelodeon Universe (one of my home parks) for the first time in over a year and the first time since I started getting on the more extreme coasters. I had already done all coasters except for Rock Bottom Plunge which was a new one for me. We started by doing the Fairly Odd Coaster and had a great time on it. I loved getting to experience the forceful helixes and a surprising airtime pop off one of the mid courses and the spinning made it even better. I did this twice one starting forward and the other starting backwards and the starting backwards was much better. Then we did the Avatar Airbender and I had a fantastic ride on it. The spinning was out of this world and the floater airtime you get at the tops are fantastic. We were then going to do the Log Chute however it sadly was not open at all which was a huge disappointment. Instead we opted to do the Pepsi Boring Streak (yes I did just call it that) which rode exactly as it always does, a nice scenic monorail with no force at all and really cramped trains that I as a short person had a hard time fitting into with a friend of mine. We then had lunch and I grabbed some Cheese Curds (the greatest fair style food ever), chicken tenders that were not that good and a root beer. Then we did Rock Bottom Plunge which is the perfect coaster that fits in with this park. It starts with the anxiety inducing vertical climb which is complemented by going slower over the top that makes you wonder when you are going down. The you go down a beyond vertical drop that is good (but not as good as Renegade) and proceed through a solid vertical loop and then the highlight of the ride which is a crazy speed hill into a crazy cutback followed by the fantastic heart line roll. Then you hit the mid course and nothing interesting happens. I did it twice in the front and back. Overall I had a great trip.
