My thoughts for what SFA should do.

Well the rumors have been heating up for SFA. There has been rumors for a B and M stand-up, and maybe a B and M floorless. I have also heard a rumor for a Flying Dutchman from www.thrillride.com and www.screamscape.com . Futhermore, I have heard that they might add a lake under SROS.

Well on to what I have been tryig to say. Next year this is what I think SFA should try to do. I think (and this is not a rumor but my thought) that SFA should put a shell (fake building) over the Joker's Jinx and have people walk through a fun house to get to the ride. I think that they should also contruct the fake lake. Maybe een add some more flat rides. Also definately clean-up their staff. That is all I think that they should do next year. 2002-2003 is another story.

So back to my Joker's Jinx thought. I think SFA should do this for a multitude of reasons. First of all the "neighors" have been complaining about the noise of this coaster and this would get them off SFA's back for a while. Secondly, the Joker's Jinx has been lacking ridership and this might spruce the ride up some. Finally many people are complaining about how the park should hae an indoor ride or coaster, and this would do just fine. So that is why I believe that the Joker's Jinx should be rethemed.

So what does eerybody else think of my ideas?
I sorta like that idea. They could add all kinds of strange lights in the building and make the whole inside be mirrored. It would be the anti-thesis of its near-clone Outer Limits at PKD. Mirrors would take away any sense of direction whatsoever! It would also make the whole building seem much larger than it really is. As far as S:ROS is concerned, I think they should make the below ground level area into a tunnel. Talk about a head chopper from 200 feet up.

Not bad, not bad. They could also use a copy of the Villian in a couple of years.

Where would we be without the rumor mill?
Hey Wild One maybe you could mention my idea to your friend that knows noe of the managers. Maybe it will actually happen.
I really like the idea of mirroring the building. There is a lot of cleaning! That sounds so cool.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Yeah, whoever has connections, give me some plugs ;-). Seriously though, I think that would really breathe some new life into Joker's Jinx. I love JJ but I feel it loses something to Outer Limits when you can see what's happening. With mirrors, you DEFINITELY would see what's happening but wouldn't know what is real.

Turns out the person who I thought knew one of the manegers turned out to be bogus, and I don't think Sam has that much sway over the manegement, but I could be wrong.

I like the exposed "spaghetti bowl" of Joker. If they're going to spend capital dollars, they should spend it on something new.

So what does "Sam" do?

By the way this idea would reduce the noise so that they could build some more rides without the neighbors complaining *** This post was edited by coastergenius on 11/9/2000. ***
As much as I like looking at the spaghetti bowl effect, they are going to have to do -something- to limit the noise on that thing. From the Superman queue lines, it sounds like a jet taking off. Even though thats pretty close to the truth, the fact remains. I don't think encasing it in some kind of shell building with mirrors would affect their prospects for a new ride in the near future. Just my 2 cents :-)

Actually I change my thoughts slightly for next year. I think that they should bould the shell for Joker's Jinx and the new Stand-up in Metropolis and theme it as Lex Luthur. They should still try to clean up the staff but put in the Flying Dutchnan in 2002 and forget the flat rides for 2001. Remember this is not a rumor but I'm just boucing my thouhgts off of you guys. *** This post was edited by coastergenius on 11/9/2000. ***
Fill the posts with sand, that would cout down on the noise considerably. Personally, however, I like the roar of JJ. It gives it a great freakout effect when you stand near the ride at the back, near Superman.

Well, can't wait until 12-7-00. ;) *** This post was edited by coastergenius on 11/11/2000. ***
I think this is a great idea. This would probably reduce sound and add more of a que line to a "fading coaster."
