Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, California, USA
I haven't been to Six Flags Magic Mountain in about 4 years but I finally got to go again on August 26, 2009. The first ride we headed to, X2 of course! I was so scared but then I saw the time wait was 2 hours so I was like "Eh, it'll go by slow." IT DIDN'T! For me the wait seemed like only 20 minutes and before I knew it, I was getting my seat belt fastened by on of the ride crew members. Then it started. We went up the chain lift with "Enter Sandman" playing in the background. My heart was beating so hard! Then we went down, I closed my eyes but I felt going upside down while going down because of the special chairs. We went through twists and turns while our chairs also twisted. Then I saw the flames and felt the heat crisp my skin, boy was it hot and with the temperature being 90 degrees already, I felt hotter. My favorite part was the ravine turn, it was awesome! Then sadly, the ride came to a stop and we got off. BEST RIDE AT SIX FLAGS!!!!!!
Did you also get an elbow ride?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Pagoda, I have to agree with you. When does a TR become too stale? I've often procrastinated on posting a report, to the point where, some weeks later, I figured it simply wouldn't be timely enough to be considered interesting.

There seems to be a lot of that going on lately.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
Aye, Mate. Spring be in the air. It be happenin' every year this way. If you roll with it, you'll see that it's all in good fun. Arrrr.
Don't even ask, I just felt the need...

Now we'll never get that post on Hersheypark's 'brand new' Fahrenheit coaster...
...jerks!
I posted photos of the second week of Diamondback's operation about 8 months afterward. I knew it was WAY too late, but I thought that may somebody, somewhere would appreciate it.
I've never been to SFMM. It's so far away that I'm not sure if I'll ever get there. I wish that a park that was closer to me would build a 4-D coaster. :(

If you'd like, I can post my Hershey TR from last year that I didn't post here to make up for it ;).
X2 or Fahrenheit?
Oh. See, I loved X. I must have gotten it on a Good day (that was a terrible day for the rest of the park, but I digest).
I've had an AWESOME ride on X2 and a BAD ride on X2 within 30 minutes of each other. It's all about the seat you ride in and whether or not the effects go off as planned. I never felt X was all that, but the first ride on X2 with the effects working perfectly and catching a smooth ride made for a real "WOW!" moment, only to soon be ruined with another "oh yeah, it's still just X." moment.

Long live the Big Bad Wolf
I've been at SFMM for one day of my life, and I got 5 rides in on X2 simply because I was so amazed at my first ride. And I'm positive I didn't have a single "bad" ride.. the only remote complaint that I have about it is how short it is. Regardless, it's definitely in my top 3 coasters.
I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.
