My 2004 trip??

I'm currently thinking about and making plans for my 2004 coaster trip. Any help, tips and/or suggestions would be appreciated. I work third shift and my weekend is Sunday and Monday night. Sunday, after a nap, I will leave Pittsburgh and head out to Harrisburg to visit with some old friends. Monday, I will visit Hershey Park. Tuesday, I will drive to Knoebels and spend the day there. Wednesday will be Dorney Park. Thursday will be Six Flags Great Adventure. Friday will be Six Flags America. Saturday will be BGW. Sunday will be PKD. Monday, I would like to do some sight seeing in Williamsburg and then drive home Monday night or Tuesday morning. Back to work Tuesday night. :(

If anyone has made a trip similar to this one and has any tips or suggestions, I'm all ears. Can Knoebels and Dorney both be done in one day, or should I keep it at a day for each? should I reverse the days spent at PKD and BGW or keep them the way that they are? These are all first time parks for me and I'm really looking forward to the trip. I will be making the trip the first week in June if anyone is interested in hooking up, let me know. Thanks.

You could do Knoebels and Dorney in one day, but I think you'll be surprised at how much there is to do at Knoebels, if you do other stuff than riding coasters (make sure to get the wristband). It's about an hour-and-a-half between the two parks. Make sure to get a Q-bot at SFGadv. You won't regret it. I assume you want to visit Colonial Williamsburg. Be warned it can get really crowded.

Man, if it were me I would drop 2 of those parks and enjoy the trip as a whole and not rush rush rush. But thats me.

I would actually go to bgw -> pkd -> sfa as they are all on the way back to Pittsburgh. On my trip last year we drove from BGW right past PKD then were within an hour to sfa, we debated going it was so close. I live in Pitt btw.

Yea, it will be a little rushed, but I don't think that it will be too much. I don't mind driving, I just hope gas prices don't jump up to $3 a gallon like they are predicting. :( Last years trip was a long one to, CP to MIA to SFGAM to SFKK and HW(same day) back to PKI and home. *** Edited 1/16/2004 1:44:36 AM UTC by CP ismyhome***
