My 2004 agenda

Hi all this is my first post as I am a new buzz member. Anyway seeing as it is the off season I am beginning to plan for next year which will hopefully be the best yet. Here are the parks I hope to visit.

BGT, BGW, DMGM, DAK, DP, EPCOT, HP, HW, IOA, KW, KBF, DMK, MA, PCW, PKI, SWO, SFDL, SFGAM, SFKK, SFMM, SFWOA, USO, USH, VF, WOF.

Out of these I have already confirmed to be going to 14 of these. Any suggestions as to smaller parks that are real gems that may be relatively close to these would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you visit Dollywood in Tennessee. Like BGW only with country theming.

Go to Knoebels. NOW! ;)

^You WON'T be sorry...

I'm a loser.

Indiana Beach, between HW and SFGAm.
I'd suggest PKD since you will only be 1 - 1 1/2 hour away from the park when your at BGW.
Your going to Six Flags World of Adventure and PKI but not Cedar Point? I recommend you go there. Its only about and hour and 1/2 away! Cedar Point you know is the park with that big red coaster. I can't remember the name of it. Anyone help me?

Top Thrill Dragster?

You get a Star Bizzle. What color would you like?

I'll take red!
For me, the local parks, of course (SFGAdv, Dorney, Hershey, Compounce, Jersey shore parks, Coney and Rye Playland)! Also planning a western PA trip in the spring for Kennywood, Idlewild, Lakemont, DelGrosso's, Conneaut and Waldameer. After that, who knows? L.A. perhaps... Indiana and the surrounding area... Vegas... another trip to Florida... right now, really too early to tell.

Now, if you asked me where I WANT to go, then that's another story...

My Wish List isn't qute as impressive:

Hersheypark and Knoebels (min of 2 visits peryear... though this year we only made Knoebels once), Morey's Piers (another yearly routine) along with Gillians and Playland in OC NJ.

Dollywood, Lake Winnie, SFoG, Carowinds, (possibly) Family Kingdom and Myrtle Beach Pavilion in Myrtle Beach.

-OR-

PKI, SFKK, Holiday World, Indiana Beach, SFGrAm, Michigan's Adventure and SFWoA (though we are leaning toward the southern trip more) Also like someone above... I do realize that this will basically take us right past CP enroute from Michigan to SFWoA... but oh well.

Also...

First return trip to Great Adventure since 1978.

Looking to hopefully get Conneaut Lake under my belt next year if it is open. Also if they are open I would like to get to Americana (LeSourdesville Lake) and Arnolds Park. My girlfriend and I have yet to sit and talk about where we want to go for next year but those are definitely on my agenda if they are open.
i only went to three different parks this year CP, SFWOA, and PKI. Our family had a rough summer due to many losses in the family.

Next summer, there are many different possibilities, because we have to make up for last summer. I will have a possibility to go to the following parks next summer, ( i won't go to all of these places)

CP, SFWOA, PKI, kennywood, SFadv, sfog in oct., michagan adventure, dollywood, sfgam, and bgw.

Oops of course i am going to CP also as it is my home park, I just forgot to add it to my list. Also PKD is now also a defininte and plans for Dollywood are in the works, thanks for the suggestion Dukies. Next year should definately be a great year and I will definately hit my 100th coasters if all my plans go accordingly.

(possibly) Family Kingdom and Myrtle Beach Pavilion in Myrtle Beach.

how could you possibly visit the pavilion, and not go to the family kingdom. first, they are 5 minutes from each other. second, its not like you will be spending a whole day at the pavilion. (and if you do, congradulations, you are the first person ever to do so)

I will have to admit that the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach is one of my all time favorite parks! If you haven't attended it before I highly suggest you add it to your 2004 schedule!!!
Looking forward to my trip to Florida in June, BGT, IOA, USF, SWO, and of course WDW; its going to be a blast. Other then that Im sure I will make it to SFGAm and hopefully squeeze in a Halloweekend Sunday visit to CP just like this year.

I dont care what anyone says Magnum is better then MF, which is better then TTD!

Well these are the parks I am 100% guaranteed to go too.

DP,HP,SFGADV,SFA,SFNE,and the Jersey Shore.

My wish list is HW,SFGAM,SFKK,and SF St. Louis.

SLFAKE: I've never been to Indiana and Michigan so I can't speak for those parks, but I can say that SFOG is a beautiful park, definitely worth visiting. There are two good wooden coasters and at least 4 good steel coasters. Lake Winnie is a really nice traditional park (Cannon Ball is decent, I think we hit it on an "off" day) that is more than worth the trip. And I've heard decent things about Carowinds...

Being in the GA area, do you consider Visionland a possibile stop? Its out of the way, but Rampage is a great ride!
