"Must Have" Workshop Items?

One of the downsides of Planet Coaster democratizing custom content is that the Workshop is cluttered with garbage, making it difficult to find real gems that will improve your park. Coupled with Workshop's poor search and navigation, I haven't had nearly as much luck finding quality scenery items as I did for RCT 3, whose not-quite-official support for 3rd party addons meant that offerings tended to be of higher quality from people who knew what they were doing.

For RCT 3, several scenery packs seemed to be on everyone's must have lists, such as Vodhins' lights and ATH's catwalks. I've yet to see anything float to the top for Planet Coaster because of all the noise.

What scenery items or rides have you guys found? I'm interested in basics like lights and fences but I'm also curious to see what else has caught your attention.

I would love some nice fences and light posts.

Wait. You have to make light posts and fences?

There's a small selection of lights, but only a couple fences (at least that I could find). That's an odd omission IMO.

Yeah, they're available, I just want something different. Of course, I realized once I started messing with the sandbox parks that there are more options and I was just limited by the themes enabled on the scenarios.

I was surprised by the lack of fences as well, but my best guess is that they are missing because of the complexity of the paths you can achieve in this game. In the RCT games you were working on a grid, so it was only 1 horizontal fence piece and one angled fence piece that was necessary to cover that block of land. In PC, it's not quite that simple.

Granted, that doesn't solve the argument that they still could have provided a bunch of fence piece options that we could spend the time rotating to fit the curvature of the paths if we were really interested in using them.

Having the ability to create custom fences based on the park's/area's theme has been nice, though. There's a significant increase in realism and detail in having dimension within the fences from building them with scenery objects.

My use case for fences is to wrap around open-air stations... I was surprised by the lack of options for that one. It seems as if they're pushing for enclosed stations which take considerably more time to make.
