When will be the Mummies soft opening date?

Right now, I would not be surprised if there were not soft openings since the Orlando version is not 100% done yet and they still have a lot of testing and employee previews before thinking about soft openings. I could be wrong but I think it is highly unlikely. Annual passholders will get previews and I would assume that these would be the "soft opening previews".

Who knows...the whole point of soft openings is they aren't scheduled....it's when they feel like giving the ride a little test run. Could be for an hour, could be for a day. Mission Space had some soft openings where it was by random invite only. Cast members randomly invited about 20 people in, that was it. (My aunt was one of those) No one else in the park had a clue it was even "open"

Wow!!! I really wish this would happen to me when I go on Sunday... Probably won't but I can dream, Right? LOL...

Apparently the ride has carried humans, but don't hold your breath.

Yep....unless a Premier person, or Universal exec, do't get your hopes up. Still...have fun! :)

Maybe in the next two weeks...I'll be in Orlando for the next 2 weeks....so I hope that it does. They did a soft opening with Test Track when it opened - so. I LOVE SPRING BREAK!!!!!

Hate to say it, but don't get your hopes up. It's probably at least a month to 6 weeks away. Enjoy the park, and don't be disappoitned when Mummy isn't ready for even test riders.

I just saw the latest Universal Florida commercial tonight and was kind of surprised to see them semi-advertise the new ride. Given that it wasn't more than a few seconds, but they did show "guest" sitting in one of the supposed trains and reacting to something.

From the little bit that was shown, the trains shown looked to be 4 abreast (which has been rumored for quite some time), and not surprisingly, contained a restraint system very similar to that on Flight of Fear or Son of Beast. You could easily see the lap bars in the shot I saw.

Anyone else see this commercial?

I saw it, but I think they were just using one of the boats from jurassic park and a scene from the movie.

I could have sworn the one small scene I saw did show the same bulky lap pars found on Flight of Fear. The ones on Jurrasic look different.

I will be on the lookout for the commercial again to see if i just saw something wrong.
