Over at Screamscape they have just posted a youtube video of a new Six Flags commercial. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't hear it with my own two ears, but Mr. Six speaks! I don't know if I like his cartoon voice or not. It really changes my perception of his personallity.
Anyways, here is the link to the youtube video.

But, but, but, no dancing, no bus, awwww! :)
I think that the dancing and the whole bit is what made Mr. Six as popular as he was. Without those the commercial just does not work as they used too. This commercial is just an extension of their 1 flag, six flags program. I had hoped that when they brought Mr. Six back the commercials would go back toward the original Mr. Six commercials. Hell there is not even any theme music!
Oh well hopefully the next one will be more like the original ones.

They show a park bench in that commercial, Six Flags is obviously insensitive to that woman who broke one at Magic Springs.
I'm not sure I like this commercial either. I wanted to see something new involving the bus, dancing and music too. That's what made me like the Mr. Six commercials in the first place. Also, on my last trip to SFMM, they had an area set up by the fountains where you could interact with Mr. Six. It had a strobe light which projected "Mr. Six" and a star pattern onto the ground. I thought it looked cool and the Mr. Six costume really did look like the character in the commercials.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

Video removed.
Making him speak would be cosmically stupid.

Aww, then they just removed it in like the last hour or so because I watched it less than 2 hours ago.
It was the same as the old "More Flags, More Fun" spots, but with Mr. Six instead of the asian dude.
Remember how stereotypically asian the asian dude's voice was in those commercials? Mr Six's was equally stereotypical old guy voice.
It was lame.
I caught it this morning. It seems pretty silly to bring Mr. Six back if they aren't going to bring back the entire concept of the Mr. Six ads. What is he without the bus, music, and wild dancing?

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
Here's one of the old spots with the bus. Seriously, why would you mess with that?

At least they still had that annoying song in the background. However, I dont know why they dont have the guy dancing.
This commercial sucks and they've ruined the whole image off Mr. Six withing that few minutes IMO that stupid voice and the same crappy slogan as the asian dude's commercial without the asian dude.
Also the Mr.Six in the new commerical looks even creeper then the last one especially talking with that Voice! this new Mr. Six looks like it's going to infact turn out to be a killer clown from outter space and will eat up most of the familes Six Flags attract to the park with this stupid commerical.
He dances for about two seconds in a little box near the end of the video.
Both the old and the new ads are cool but meshing them together is strange. At least I get my Mr. Six fix again. I LOVE that guy! He's sexy! lol

This is just bringing back nightmares for me. I used to adore Tinkerbell. I would buy all of her stuff. Dolls, accessories for dolls, playhouses for dolls, lunchboxes, computer games, backpacks, pajamas, life-size play structures, books, coloring books, sticker books, combined sticker and coloring books, paddle games, thermoses, lingerie, party treats, pet food, DVDs, barbed wire, ash trays . . . well, to make a long story short, I literally wrapped my whole life around Tinkerbell. I adored her. And then one day they decide to give her a voice. Like, I'm so sure Tinkerbell needs a voice. She was fine without it. But do they care? Nnooooo! They don't care about the fans. And it just destroyed me. I mean, like totally destroyed me. I was so crushed, so devastated, I eBayed all her crap in like a week. I emptied my life of those Disney bastards. Leaving this void, this hole, this soul-sucking hole in my heart where this magical little fairy once resided.
Sob.

If you are kidding, that's just hilarious!

Dammit. And I wasted all of that time looking through e-Bay trying to score some cheap Tinkerbell stuff. Although I figured you still were hanging on to the Tinkerbell lingerie and paddles....

For the record, my reaction would have been just the opposite. :)
This was one of my favorite "It's Playtime" ads with Mr. Six.
