Six Flags, the chain of amusement parks, is giving its brand character, Mr. Six, a younger companion named Little Six. The two are paired up in pitches that includes television commercials and appearances on the Six Flags Web site.

Again, I think Shapiro is a great CEO. They nixed Six in the beginning, but realized how much of a brand he was and they brought him back. Learn from your mistakes. Maybe we can get HIM on the CF board, lol.

Let the elderly child molester jokes begin!
I was going to post something relative to the Catholic Church - but something tells me it may be more appropriate to mention a certain group named "NAMBLA"...
Either are in poor taste but I assume Jeff's post gives me a free pass...
I see what SFI is trying to do, with the whole 'inner child thing'. To me, it works. This is a fairly credible marketing product, and the more impressive given that it was all done in house. If only CF could have had this level of imagination when they renamed 'Drop Tower' and 'Back Lot Stunt Coaster'.

I saw that a few days ago...
Little Six is creepier than King Buzzo's laugh. I find the little one to be even creepier than the old one, and I like creepy stuff. There's just enough wrong with it to stick in your head, and make you think about it subconsciously.

"Come on, Jesse! Time to ride the roller coaster!"
"mmmmm"
"Mmmmm."
I hate people. But I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?
^^^Full agreement. Felt there was a jet black dark humour undercurrent to this marketing from day one. Mr. Six emerges from funky school bus and dances for children resulting in them all going to Six Flags. "It's Playtime!" *shudder* Check out that picture on the Six Flags page where they show Mr. Six looking giddy and suprised and looking at Little Six.
"Bring out the little six in you!"
So the marketing campaign now targets either adults that want to get in touch with their inner child and or averagly endowed pedophiles. *shudder* :)
Is it really that creepy, and is that really the reason? What about this resembles pedophilia in any way at all?
I think Little Six is creepy because he's little. There's something about small people that sometimes creep me out sometimes. Sometimes kids can be creepy, just like sometimes older elderly people can be creepy to some people.
Okay...something just jumped into my warped mind...
Herbert: You like Popsicles?
Chris: Well, sure.
Herbert: Then you need to come on down to the cellar. I got a whole freezer full of Popsicles. Mmmm....
Thanks for pulling me into the hysteria.

They could get back into the toy cross promotions again. The Mr Six Oozinator! :)
I've seen that video before, but I've never even imagined pairing it with Mr. Six.
Can elderly people even...still...never mind. ;)
EDIT - When I say "that video", I mean the Oozinator Super Soaker ad, just to clarify what I am talking about.

When I see the two together, I don't think of pedophilia. I think more along the lines of asexual propagation. Still it's an ewwwwwww.
