Mr. Freeze getting lap bars.

I was just wondering does anyone think Mr Freeze will get lap bars. I think theres a pretty good chance because of Chillers success with them. Or they may wait until 2003 to see how the Batman side does. What do you think ?

I HOPE that Mr. Freeze will get lap bars because those huge OTSR's they have now kinda hurt and they block your view of mostly everything.With the success of The Chiller's lap bars, it is possible for Mr. Freeze to get them also.

The Mr.Freeze train otsr's were replaced with new ones with more padding for this year, but it is a possibility that they might still be changed.

Chillers also had padding like Mr. Freeze did but many people complained about the straps being around their head. Yes it does also provide a very good view on Robin now that the OTSR are gone. The line is also a bit shorter because many people are afraid they will fall out so they leave the line when they see the lap bars.

Mr. Freeze was a pretty awesome ride I thought. It was also the only ride I've ever spit blood after riding. It needs lap bars :)

People were also spiting blood after Robin and FOF but I'm not sure about Batman The Chiller or Joker but I assume they were.

why do people spit blood?

I'm assuming its because of a head injury that is severe because that would cause it to happen or they have braces and the inside of there mouth gets cut. I have seen both I saw someone get off Robin in 1997 spiting a little blood and I saw someone get off FOF in 1996 spitting alot of blood. The ride ops were very concered that she was hurt bad.

I was spitting blood after a rideon viper at Sfgadv back in like 96 when i had braces,becuase when it took that last turn i dident brace myself right and i just got my jaw gramed into the harnest and the bracket on the braces went into my lip therefor i was spitting blood never on the chiller thou but almost on the robin side back in the beging of 98 when it dident have so much padding but thankfully i kelpt my head from banging around during the rest of the ride.

I don't think Viper is that bad.

it isent it's just that i dident brace myself and i my head got smashed into the harnest in the last turn before the brakes.i onestly like the ride.

SFoT is suspiciously closing Mr. Freeze earlier this year during the winter event Holiday in the Park... This usually isn't done but if you ask me I would say the ride will be getting a whole lot better for 2002, if you catch my drift.... :)

I didn't get a chance to ride Mr. Freeze the last time I was at SFoT, why wife and uncle did however. I think the ride would be an absolute thrill and scary as hell with lap bars. The top hat with the lap bar and well as the drop back down the spike would be great. I should be going in the next couple of weeks. BTW, does SFoT do a Halloween thing during October.

Since its closing early its probably getting lap bars. I live in NJ but have rode both Mr. Freezes and if it does get them you are in for a great ride. Robin was GREATLY improved with them and is now smooth as glass which is cool because it was rougher then FOF.
