I have never seen Mr Freeze. Yet I keep hearing that it runs 2 trains. How is that possible on a one way LIM. I have ridden B&R Chiller. That is why it seems impossible to run 2 trains. If any one can help Let me know...
They have a 'sliding transfer table', in which one is being loaded/unloaded, and the other trian in launched. When it returns, train, track and all slide to the right or left, and the other is launched. Only when the 'othe' train returns from the circuit, then the table slides the other train into place. It is pretty neat to see, and it is a better ride the B&R Chiller. "Speed" in Vegas is good, just 35 seconds of shortness. That ride only has one train.
Its an extremelly fun ride as I got an oppurtunity to ride it this summer. Agent Johnson is right with the transfer track. I wish more coasters would adapt the Top Hat inversion.

You build it, I'll ride it
That Is really cool how the transfer track does that.Ive been on mr.freeze at SFOT Its really COOL
Yeah
As a matter of fact I was just at the SF website wondering how they did that. I thought I read it wrong or something.

Top 3:
1. Millenium Force
2. Raptor
3. Batman: the Ride
Mr. Freeze is cool, but increadibly rough! It should have been designed with a large vertical loop then a vertical climb. The twists are murderous.
Well, I can tell you that B&R THE Chiller needs to go. Last time I rode I was on robin and got knocked for a loop. Felt like the Ride kind of got stuck and snapped your head. I asked when I got off the ride if something happened and the Op. said that it always does that. The worst ride in the northeast. Outer limits in PKD, worst in the south....
Premier's rides are nothing but crap. Joker's Jinx almost gave me a blackout, and that wasn't from intensity, it was from being terribly rough.
I disagree, ride it, and take the pain. I found it SO much fun. I didn't tihnk it was that rough, you just have to look ahead and see how the cars move and anticipate the ride. If there was new harnesses, the ride would be much more rider friendly. Am I the only one that sides with Premier??

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
You are not the only one who likes Premier. I personally think that JJ at SFA is an incredible ride. Intense, compact, fast, smooth(yes, smooth IMHO) and a great ride. Plus, it has some incredible visuals from the outside, especially looking at S:ROS:)!

Where would we be without the rumor mill?
I don't know... I enjoyed both Outer Limits rides and Joker's Jinx once I learned how to ride them (from seats of cars, head tilted out). Still, you shouldn't have to fight the ride to enjoy it.

Okay the yellow train wasn't THAT bad on Joker's Jinx. But that Purple train... DAMN!!!!! Maybe I rode it on a bad day, I did give the ride a chance because I rode it twice. But that was enough.
One more thing. Why do ALL the OTSR's at SFA smell like old sweat???? Especially on Two Face: The Flipside.

The OTSR's on SLC's smell bad too. I think it's because of the pads.

Mr. Freeze at SFoT is not that rough... or not as rough as it used to be anyway. It now has much softer pads on the restraints. Give it another try.
