Mr Freeze @ SFOT Is Running

I couldn't find a post about it being open, so here it is.

Last night while waiting for S:TOP, they started testing Mr. Freeze. I asked several employees if it was open, and they didn't think so, but one said it was supposed to this week end.

By the time we got off S:TOP (after waiting only 30 min), we could see people on the trains. My daughter and I ran, as casually as we could, for the que...20 minutes later we were watching a veritable piggy bank of pennies floating at the top of the spike.

This was my first time on Freeze, and I don't even want to think about OTSR's. After riding Poltergiest, I have to question whether they're even necessary on most loopers. But I'm sure there are several threads about that one already.

Freeze was open at SFOT on Wednesday; I rode it then.

Mr. Freeze has been operating since May 17th, but yea, Freeze is one of the best rides at SFoT, I would much rather ride Freeze than Titan on occasions, just because of the launch. But Shock Wave is where it is at!

Amen! And the best thing is that it always (well, most of the time) has a very short line.

I finally got to *a* Freeze, the one at SFMo (SFStL) this past week, and I'd have to say that I have a new favorite shuttle coaster....and that the Tophat is right up there with a tight helix, an sharp camelback, and a vertical loop....:) Freeze is icy!
I was there April 18 and they said it my not open until the end of summer. How come nobody has said anything until now?
We visited the park in late May and found the ride to be running. We only got one ride on it, but the difference with lapbars is incredible. Easily my new favorite shuttle.

On a side note, that was the first time i had managed to get on Shockwave while visiting the park, and those two intense loops in a row really surprised me.

I have only ridden Freeze with OTSR's and I still thought it was incredible! Great news to see that it's downtime was minimal.

Nice to hear Mr. Freeze is open again. I rode it for the first time in September, and it's easily my favorite Premier shuttle, of which I've ridden every different layout (not every coaster physically, however).
