Mowing the Grass

I was messing around and found an easy way to cut the grass without having the handymen do it. I went to the land edit function and clicked once. It clears all the tall weeds witout having you guys mow and rake. So far it didn't grow back either.

I just have my trainer do it for me.

Hey, isn't that what I pay the little bastards in the overalls for? ;)

I never cared about mowing lawns, anyway. The handymen spent all their time mowing grass instead of cleaning up that dang barf.
Here's another question about the lawns.
When they get high do they takeaway from the park rating or is it just for appearance.

Park Ratings, I think, but I don't like my park (Angel Fire) to have weeds

Anything that isn't done in your park takes away from the rating.
Emptying the bins, sweeping the barf, mowing the grass, lost people.
Watch as your rating will go down substantually.
That's why we have trainers now!
Free money, free mowed grass, free everything!
I also give each customer 5000 to spend in my park and they don't leave!
I had my count as high as 4000 in 3 years!

But no free lost guests.{Someone needs to have a trainer that does this}
I dont think that weeds really affects park rating...wel not much anyway. I have several parks where the handymen NEVER mow the grass and I have park ratings of 999. Personally, I think the whole mowed lawn look is overated.

I never let my handymen mow the grass, and I don't have any park rating problems. I think that keeping you footpaths clean is far more important for park rating than mowed lawns.

Park rating is based mainly on guest thoughts. If something like un-mowed lawns is causing alot of guests to complain, then yes it would effect it. I do not mow my grass, and spend my time making sure the paths look nice and there is sufficient scenery. Since grass and scenery is in the same "thought catagory" for your guests, if your paths and scenery are good enough, they won't have the chance to complain about the grass.

If they do... give them a lawn mower and tell 'em: "It's 10 squares mowed per ride on the roller coaster"

I figured that out a long time ago but I still like to use the trainers.
How do you give your peeps $5000 to spend?
trainers are nice for creating your own types of parks and rides...
but don't expect to gain much skill when using them to win scenarios.
