National Lampoon's Vacation is the bomb, with Aunt Edna and Stinky and oh, sorry off topic. I think Wally World was filmed at SFMM because they had a white steel looping coaster (Revolution) and a white wooden twin (Colossus). It is supposed to be a spoof on Disney World though, I thought...

the long beach cyclone is featured in many movies and tv shows. "strike me pink" is the best of them. leave it to beaver is good, too. there is a version of the movie "state fair", not the one with pat boone, has a good scene where a girl stands up going down the first drop and her riding partner grabs her and sits her down. the best footage is in the movie "death of ocean view park".

virginiareelfan,

Wasn't the coaster in "Death of Ocean View Park" was the Skyrocket at Ocean View Park in Norfolk, VA?

The movie The Guilty has a scene in it in the start of the film where they are driving a SUV through a park and they break into the parks bar and steal there booze, it looks like a pier park dont know which one but it does have a few coasters in it. Next showing is on march 10 at 10pm on HBOPL if anyone can tell what park it is.

The coaster in Summer School is The Roaring 20's Corkscrew, previously @ KBF.
Breaking all the Rules. The whole movie they're at a park I think it's the Six Flags in Canada. But in the movie it's called Fun Park
The movie "House On Haunted Hill" features the Incredible Hulk. Its pretty cool.

Bubble Boy- Manhattan Express at New York New York

Bully- one of the southern "Hurricane"s

Requiem for a Dream- Thunderbolt at Coney Island

This movies aren't the most popular in the World, so I'm not surprised they haven't been mentioned yet in the thread.
