My record for most times is the Kumba 9 times straight.
30+x on Superman at SFA. That was during the Zombies Invasion, however.;)

2001- the year of flight!
For sure was 40 on Montu in one day. Unofficially around 40-50 on Timbers during TimberFest. 35 or so on Legend at GOCC event in Sept.

5 times in a row (near back) of Shockwave @ SFGAm! Beat that! And try to give yourself a headache that bad without a coaster's help! I know one thing: never ever ride in the back of Shockwave more than once a day.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
24 on Apollos Chariot 3 weeks ago. Could've got more but I had to get 20 on Alpengiest. I rode more coasters that day than any other time at any park. I also had 12 on Lochness and 7 on Big Bad Wolf.
All of those numbers are true to exact and none are exagerations.

Got you all beat. Did Tidal Wave back in 1984 at SFGam. About 65 continuous rides without getting off.

24+20+12+7=63
63/14=about 4
60/4=20
63 coaster rides in one day? You sure about that?
Look at some math, if your at a park that is open 16 hours, and you are there open-close, then almost every 20 minutes, you have to be on another coaster ride... I don't know the exact layout of BGW, but I doubt it's that efficient and small you can walk to another queue, wait in it, ride, and get off in 20 minutes. I doubt all of those coasters would be walkons, too. I've been to SFGAm when it is dead, and you can't walk on Raging Bull, Batman, or Whizzer. So, 2 major coasters and a little coaster... I'd say Apollos Chariot and Alpengiest are major, and Big Bad Wolf is a little coaster (well, as in little kids would like it). I'll let the members decide if you did get one ride every 20 minutes (probably less, accually. I don't know BGW's hours!)

You think 65 is alot, huh do you really, I got to do 70 times on The Villian.
Actually TrBiggar,
IOArules may not be lying. I grew up 20 min. from BGW, and on slow days you really can get into a groove. Ride ops. will just let you stay seated, over and over and over. (Of course you can't get that in front or back seats, usually). Plus Busch runs a tight ship. Those ops are trained well, and you don't spend a lot of time waiting in the station. They also usually have more than one train running on all coasters, even when the park is empty.
Anyway, yes it is possible, but I don't know IOArules, and I haven't been yet this season, so I don't know what it was like three weeks ago.
I will also add that the most rides I ever had was at BGW, years ago. (Before DF closed. Hell, before DF opened). It was mid-July and 101 degrees. No one was in the park, and we rode Big Bad Wolf (it was new at the time) and only got off two or three times in a two hour time period. Yes, I know, not the greatest coaster, but at the time I hadn't seen anything like it before.

I find this thread pretty amusing. Doesn't it remind you of that great scene from
Jaws where the men are sitting around in the boat comparing scars? ;)

I got around 70 rides on the raven at SRM a few years back. I know some people that have gotten many more, though.
I think dreadlock jim has gotten over 100 easily on some of the SRM's from back in the day.

Don't touch the watch.
39 on Top Gun, at PCW... During a school day...
Skipping school for a coaster.. Gotta love it!
A group of people over at GTTP are going to be attempting to ride Gemini at CP 100 times in one day this summer:
http://www.spiritofthepoint.com/gemini100.htm As for myself, my record is 22 times in one day on the Great Escape Comet.

I wouldn't mind riding American Eagle 100 times.
I rode SROS at SFNE on closing night 14 times in a row. Well-not in a row, I had to get off and walk around a coule of times cause people were in the queue for my seat. But I've ridden it 82 times in 4 months with school to tend to, thatz pretty good.
Once I did 450 on MF. The thing was I stayed there during he night and rode it! Then the next day I continued.
Yeah right....Anyone who said over 50 on popular rides is just gooofin you guys. It just wouldn't happen(unless you jumped the line).
