Most newly built coasters in single year

There is a thread concerning how many new coasters ridden in one year.

So I got to thinking... How many newly built coasters have you ridden in a single year? For example, Joe Schmoe has a total of 3. He rode Top Thrill Dragster, Scream, and Steel Venom all in the same year in which they were built (2003).

My Total is 6. In 2000: Millennium Force, Batman: Knight Flight, Superman Ultimate Escape, Villain, Roadrunner Express, and Son of Beast.

Anybody have some crazy number, maybe even from riding newly built coasters across several states in the same year?

2000- I think 14 (maybe more) new-to-that-year coasters is my highest: Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), Flashback, Poison Ivy's Twisted Train, Wild Mouse (Dorney), Woodstock's Express (Dorney), Son of Beast, Millennium Force, Batman Knight Flight, The Villain, Roadrunner Express (SFO & SFKK), Superman: Ultimate Escape, Legend, Flying Unicorn,...

I wouldn't be surprised if 1999 or 2000 is the biggest year for most people.

...Such as Six Flags Worlds of Adventure, New Orleans, or Holland, which all got four new coasters in 2000.
