Most Entertaining Stations

Gotta go with riddlers revenge on this one. Its like a really small club with the lighting and the techo music going on the actual ride however I have issues with.

I hope they kill that iron yuppie. Thinks he's so big. The great homer simspon

The first station that comes to mind with me is Disaster Transport at CP. It's so cool how your shirts and teeth glow under the black lights. And the creepy/techno music with the machinery in motion behind bars is always cool. Also, it's very innovative how they redecorate the station during the Halloween season to make it look like a haunted house. That's gotta be my favorite station.

I would say that dance music doesn't always make a station (and I am pretty fond of dance music). Due to the amount of time you have to wait for X, you hear the music over and over and over. There are 4 songs, the 2 that were mentioned above, another song off Crystal Method's first album, and some other 4x4 dance song.
given that i've only been to a handful of parks (SFGAm (home), SFWoA (when it was SFO) and Kennywood), i have a limited selection. but of those i've experienced, some stand out. B:TR is incredible, some of the best SF theming ever. a few years later came Viper with some good theming itself, but not quite as good as B:TR. by the time Raging Bull rolled around, things were heading downhill, and V2 and Deja Vu are just pitiful. So at SFGAm, i give my nod to B:TR and Viper only.

over at SFO, the only two worth mentioning were B:KF and the Villain. B:KF wasnt even that good, but the Villain was decent. So at SFO, i'd go with Villain only.

Kennywood is an interesting one. if you're partial to the old/classic feel (and I am), then all three of the woodies stand out. Thunderbolt and Jack Rabbit are great reminders of our roller coaster history... and the Racer is just incredible now that it's been fully restored. All three of those are great looking stations and I can't wait for my return trip in 2 weeks!

from what i've seen, most of the stations you guys have mentioned are just as well (if not better) themed than what i've listed. but these are all that i've actually experienced.

"It's like something out of that twilighty show about that zone"

The Beast at night normally has a pretty good atmosphere. The crew does a good job of pumping everyone up.Too bad its not been running as we all know it can.
I like the little sayings in the Adventure Express station. That ride is one of the most themed (out of the "normal" parks) coasters I've seen.

I had totally forgotten about the restored Kennywood Racer station. Awesome.

I liked the station of Top Gun at PKI with the music from the movie. (Danger Zone). Also the posters and planes get you pumped up and excited if you've seen the movie.
I agree with Dukies, Wildfire has an amazing station.. not to mention the pure A/C on a 98 degree day... feels great!

would have to say Kennywood's Thunderbolt because when we come back to the station, everyone is yelling and saying one more time.
Also I love Superman: ultimate Flight how when u assume the flying postition, everyone just yells and screams. Medusa too when the floor is removed.

I'm the youngest of the group of Summore, Holla at ya boy!
For me, X comes to mind due to the sheer size required to accomodate the trains which are also wide. And then of course, Riddler's Revenge although after hearing Ecuador by Sash play over and over, you kinda want to hit your head on the wall to get it out of your mind.
Oh, and the songs playing in the X queue are: Confusion by New Order (from the Blade soundtrack), Get Busy Child by the Crystal Method, El Nino by Agnelli and Nelson (I forgot what version it was), and Vapor Trail by the Crystal Method.

Millennium Force's station is always jumping with NRG. It's first season was wild, with the lights and music.

I love Xcelerators station. It's a really cool atmosphere with all the oldies music playing. Plus I really like the signs that say "the car may roll back when clutch engages." Thats a great idea to go along with the engagement of the launch sled to the train. I used to really like MF's station, but the last two times I've been to CP there has been no music, lights, or effects going on in it. That Batman stations all used to be really good too, especially when they had the mist that came up from when the floor lowered as well as the mist that blasted the train when it entered the station.

I liked Montu's Station...Very well themed and very open...

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! My top 7 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Montu 3. Yankee Cannonball 4. Kumba 5. Gwazi 6. Cyclone (SFNE) 7. B:DK

If you scrap Universal, then my favorite has to go to MF...you just cant beat the theme pumping in the background, and the millenium force logo projected above the trains at night. It all really adds to the mood so well.

------------------
The Millenium Force ride Ops: Squishing you where it counts since 2000.
Track Record: 62 coasters at 17 parks.

Before I go any further, let me say 2 things.

1. Ive only been to SFFT(pre S:KC and the LIM), SDC(pre wildfire), PKI, CP, and BCK&C.

2. WHY WAS I AT UNIVERSAL THE YEAR BEFORE IOA WAS BUILT AND NEVER RETURN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

anyway...

Joker's Revenge. I love the little freakshow featuring Batman in a net.

MF.

DT.

OL:FOF

WT. I love the phrases the ride ops use during launch like "Launch in 3..(train launches)2,1" and "Dont you hate it when you know somethings gonna happen, but you dont know when..."

Another cool station would have to be jaguar at KBF you enter a tomb to get on the ride and its really cool. Also Flight of Fear at PKI is pretty cool with the aliens in their capsules and the entrance in the hanger is a ufo.
I'd go for Millennium Force overall - the music, the lighting at night, and the crew pumping you up - especially at night when you see the lift-hill lights going crazy.

For theming, Alpengeist is hard to beat. The first several times you ride, you notice something new in the station that you didn't see before.

I agree with the poster about Superman:Ultimate Flight's station too. It's wild when people are screaming before the coaster has left the station as the seats rotate. And even when they've seen several trains do that while waiting in line, they STILL scream when they get on themselves.

You're locked and ready to fly!

I love alpie's , with the whole skiing thing, but i really like FoF at pkd and pki. the whole thing is neat until you see the video 22 times. but once you get onto the loading platform its cool becuase there are those "capsules" if you will, that have that mettalic paper in them, and the space music is playing, then it goes silent, and the train is launched. then all goes back to normal. its a really good one.

I don't know why, but I love Batman: Knight Flight's station. I love waiting in line for it too. You always feel like you are in a theatre. The music and the spiels, I just don't know why I like it...
