Most Coaster-infested place in the U.S.A.

I live in Virginia, and I live at the most three hours away from six major parks: SFA, SFGadv, DP, HP, PKD, and BGW, with a grand total of 54 coasters. Can anyone (other than SoCal) top this?
Where do you live in Virginia?  I can't say for sure, but even if you live right on the northern border, I'd say it'd be difficult to make it to SFGAdv in 3 hours.

I'd also say that anyone who lives in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, L.A., San Diego, Orlando, Tampa, etc., is going to reply with even more parks within a 3-hour drive time.

Yep :)

Cedar Point, SFWoA, PKI, Conneaut Lake Park, Hershy, kennywood. They are all pretty close. But im not 100% sure/

Pittsburgh, my home away from home, is a great place (for coasters and in general).

I'm within 3 hours of Cedar Point, SFWoA, King's Island... that's 38 coasters. Plus, I believe Wyndat Lake in Columbus and Conneaut Lake each have one coaster...that's 40. But we're talking one state. Glad to live in Ohio!
I'm within 90 minutes of SFMM, KBF, USH, DCA, Disneyland and Legoland. Quite impressive, but I'd take Ohio or Florida if I could.  :)

I just moved to Allentown. Ditto what Dollaz N Dollaz said.

Just moved from Jacksonville, Fl. Under 2 hours to all the Orlando attractions, under 3 to Tampa, under 2 to Wild Adventures in Valdosta. Add a sleepover night - which we usually do (having a wife in the hotel industry is sweet) and you could add Jazzland, Panama Beach, SFOG, Carowinds etc.

Before that I lived in Western PA with close access to Kennywood, SFWOA, CP, Conneaut, Lakemont, Waldameer, PKI, etc.

Guess I've been awfully lucky in the past 5 years. :)

Martling:  You forgot Cincinnati's Coney Island (1) and Cincinnati's Stricker's Grove (2).   And Americana if it opens up soon

Man you guys are lucky.

Within 3 hours: 0

Clostest Coaster: 119 straight-line miles (3:15 drive) to a Reverchon Crazy Mouse

Within 5 hours:
BGW
PKD
Myrtle Beach Parks
(All of the above are ~3 1/2 hours)

That's *IT*

I am within three hours of 38 rollercoasters of which 8 are CCI's.  I feel very lucky to live in the midwest.

-----------------

I dunno, I am pretty close to a lot here.

4 hours:  Hershey, Dorney, Kennywood, SFGA, PKD, BGW, KK, SFA, Knoebels, SFWoA, and Monty's Pier as well.

I am within 3 hours of one coaster.  Dania Beach Hurricane.  We have the best winter weather in the US (California is up there too) and no more than one coaster.  That is a disgrace.

-Ticked in South FLA!

Hey Coastergames.net - I only live about 20 minutes away from you so I know how you feel.   It is a long drive to ride coasters, but somehow we manage to do it quite a bit.  You get used to it I guess.

I agree... I live in Florida and I don't see where all these coasters are.  I live right outside of Tampa (30 mins away maybe less).  And, they have 5 coasters.   Disney area probably has 4 or 5 (in the disney parks including kiddy coasters...).  Um, sea world has 1?  Universal IOA has what 3 or 4?  So, that's around 15 coasters with the major parks...  Only good thing is ALL YEAR ROUND !! :)

Georgia Scorcher...OH yeah it's fire baby!!!
