Most Anticipated Ride fo 2002

Xcelearator looks absolutely marvelous, a new launch mechanism 90 degree drop, pure speed through out the whole ride sounds great.

I almost forgot about the new PTCs on The Legend. I think that and TR:TR I'm looking forward to the most. Of the coasters I won't be riding, Goliath interests me the most by far. It's pure torture watching this and EGF last year go up overseas. Hopefully, we'll get another wild Intamin hyper over here soon. I really can't get to SFNE every year... :(

...but I'll try my best! :)

Personally for me, the most anticipated ride for 2002 is whichever roller coaster I can reach first. I could care less if it's been open 1 hour or 10 years. I am just sick of the off season here in KY and simply can't wait till Easter weekend so I can hit SFKK and get my fix. :P

SM:UF because SFoG is my home park and I cant wait to ride it, plus I havnt ridden Deja Vu yet either so I got 2 new coasters to look forward to this upcomming season.

I'd say either WT or SUF.

Xcelerator looks absolutely marvelous, a new launch mechanism(hope is doesn't cause as much chaos as Hypersonic XL, S&S built a complete prototype before X and they still flaked.), 90 degree drop, pure speed throughout the whole...three drops(Xcelerator could be the airtime machine of the millenium if they could add just one hill at least.) I was really anticapating Xcelerator until the showed the complete plans at the Coaster Solstace.

How can anyone possibly say stuff like WT will be the best 2002 ride!?!?! Also how can anyone possibly say something like Joker Jinx trains and v2. Almost every other 2002 ride is better then that. I chose S:UF.

Xcellerator looks jaw dropping awesome and has me trying to scratch my money to afford to get out to California and get there within the next couple of years. (Talon got me to set back money to go this year)

SFEG Volare?

Huh? I didn't know that SFEG said what they are building yet. Now if I can just figure out what a Volare is, I will be set.......

Also, this will be the year I finally get to Holiday World to experience Legend and Raven, and I am extremely excited about that.

I guess of the new coasters out there, I'd have to say WT, TR:TR, and LoCoSuMo, just because those are probably the only three new for 02 coasters I will ride.

Ed10, you ask how somebody can say that anctipate Joker's Jinx with new trains? I too am anticipating JJ. I find very little else exciting being built this year, and JJ is located about 45 minutes from home. After riding FoF with lapbars, I can't wait to ride JJ with them, and also see the public freak when they see those headrest finally gone! That's why I'm excited.

My most anticipated would be Silver Star at Europe Park. Since Nitro is my current #1 coaster, I'm assuming SStar will be a hit as well.

Other new for '02 coasters I can't wait to ride are:

*Goliath SFH

*Colossus at Thorpe Park

*SUF

*AIR

*Wicked Twister and

*Lost Coaster (This little ride looks *too* cool)

Those seem to be the best of what's coming out for this year (that I'll be riding, at least).
