ANyone know if there is a diffence between V2 and Superman the ultimate excape

CP is the best hands down even without a record

No, there is no difference.

Except of course the placement of the electrical grid and control systems. That building next to V2 is really ugly compared to the "underground" placement on S:UE.

It may be ugly, but it really adds to the effectiveness of the launch, giving it a tunneling effect. The intial launch doesn't seem as intense as S:UE, but then V2 kicks into high gear, and delivers a kick butt ride! I really hope Jeff Jouett can follow through with his dream to work with Intamin again next year for a hypercoaster. *** This post was edited by DWeaver on 6/15/2001. ***
Great photos. It sure is wierd seeing a yellow impulse. I'm used to seeing a red and blue impulse.

Anyone agree with me that SFMW(though not perfect) is the most photogenic of all SF parks?
I agree with you DWeaver, SFMW is the most photogenic of all SF parks. Everyone at the park smiles and everywhere you look, you see happiness, laughter, and fun. The employees may not be the best in the world, but they do try their best to accomodate the public at the park.
I totally agree DWeaver! I love taking photos of SFMW. Especially the coasters. Even though Medusa isn't themed all that well, it still takes a great photo, as does Roar. V2 just adds to the list! All the animal shows and attractions, as well as the flat rides really give the park a certain "something" imo. :)
Six Flags Great America is better than SFMW
Marine World looks fantastic, especially with the Millenium trains on Roar. I'd like to compare that to the one at SFA. As for V2, I can only imagine it is the fine piece of engineering from our friends at Intamin. S:UE at SFWOA (aka SFO, GL) is out of this world. Will Intamin do their version of a full circuit launched invert (like Volcano only 389% better)??

Here are some videos of DeJa Vu testing at SFOG. THought you might be ablr to drool over these baby's. There is klik klak klak klak when the train goes through the inversions for some reason. Let's hope SFMM's doesn't do that.

There are like, "100" photos of the spikes. Two photos of the spike is plenty, not "100."

Congratulations Ray Bourque!!

Colorado Avalanche: 2001 Stanley Cup Champions!
I'm just glad SFMW is staying away from the superhero names.

AKA V2 at CCN! AKA SFMWManiac at SFMWOnline!
