more than 2 coasters in 1 year

has any park recieved more than 2 coasters in 1 year?? i know that great america got 2 in 2000, but i am not aware of any that have gotten 3.

SFWoA- Villain, Batman: Knight Flight, Superman: Ultimate Escape, and Roadrunner Express in 2000.

SFWoA in 2000 (then SFO), recieved 4 new coasters in one year. Magic Mountain was also supposed to recieve 3 in 2001, but X opened January 12.

SFoG got 3 attractions in one calender year. Acrophobia - May? 2001, DeJa Vu - August 2001 and Superman - March 2002.

2000- SFMagic Mountain got X, Deja Vu and Goliath Jr.

SFA got Great Chase, Joker's Jinx, and Two Face in 1999.

Of course if you count new parks there are several that can be added including IOA and Jazzland.

SFGAd in 1999 got Medusa, Road Runner Railway, and Blackbeard's Treasure Train (or some other crappy name). According to my rough math, that's three! :)

Yeah some people didn't know sfgadv's got 3 coasters in 99' lol. It's Blackbeard's lost treasure train.

In 2000 SFNE Got Poison Ivy's Twisted Train, FlashBack, S:RoS, and a ton of new flats including 2 new towers to now SCREAM.

Those were year 2001 rides, buddy. And don't forget to throw in their S&S designed Thrill Shot that same year.

I can give tons of Park Names because some parks like IOA, Worlds of Fun, PKI, and SFEG had more than 2 coasters open on thier first year of opperation. There probally lots more where that came from.

New parks get new coasters, that should count as more than 2 coasters in one year.
