Is there a hard upper limit to the ratings on the rides? I'm asking because I thought that 10.00 was the maximum excitement rating and I built a ride in a scenario that exceeded it. I'm not bragging (really!) I just want to know WTF happened.
To clarify what I was trying to do that gave me problems with the financial settings in the scenario editor: I was trying to build a scenario that started with a park built with rides and nothing else (specifically four to-die-for coasters). I wanted to set the scenario goals to get lots of guests in a short time. In order to do this I ended up building a landscape, starting the scenario, building the rides, saving that as a scenario, and trying to run it from there. The problem I was running into was that I ran up the debt building the rides and the debt stayed in the new scenarios that I created. Because of the goals I wanted to set (which turned out to be impossible anyway) running the park without money would have been silly. Does anyone understand what my problem was? Does anyone know of a way around it?
I've noticed that certain kinds of coasters (LIM, Suspended Swinging) generate numbers that do not match their real world counterparts. Specifically, Suspended Swinging coasters are vomit machines, while LIM coasters scare the **** out of people. Does anyone have advice on how to build these coasters so that people will actually ride them?
Again, I thank you in advance for your help.
