It shows a list of expansions. Doesn't say much but it sounds like a 566,000 sq ft piece of land for $10 million or about 11 acres. If there is any news article about this expansion please let me know. What is the currrent size of the current park? I know it's quite small.

-----------------

I'll just say that 11 acres is smaller that Wyandot Lake.

Doesn't Gemini take up either 6 or 8 acres?

Please visit the small parks. We don't know what's happening behind the scenes

The $10M figure seems to be total capital investment (value of all holdings). I thought 1M/acre sounded like a high figure for land outside of a major city...;)
I don't know but I bet Wyandot could almost fit in Gemini...

We drove by in August, but it wasn't open and we were on our way home. Honestly, I don't know where they'll expand. They're hammed in by a river, a freeway, and a street. I guess they could expand into their parking lot. There is a mall across the street which could probably make up for the lost spaces.

jf - IIRC they're looking to move onto a bigger plot of land, not expand the existing park at it's current location.

Sig under construction!

They are definately planning to either move or open another location....

Castles and Coasters is currently at the Metrocenter Mall which is in Peoria, AZ...the land on the website is in Avondale which is even further away from downtown Phoenix.

My uncle lives in Avondale and the last time I was there it took us over 30 minutes to get to Castles and Coasters.

-----------------

Couldn't they be aiming to keep both locations and run their operation in a similar fashion to Big Chief's in Wisconsin Dells? Just a thought.

I thought of that as a possibility too! I would wonder if a wristband would be good at both locations.
