More new RCT3 screenshots

Hey all,

Nothing groundbreaking in these, but ign has updated their site with some more info and screens.

http://pc.ign.com/articles/544/544581p1.html

Thought the buoys looks interesting on the jet ski ride. And the double deck observation ride looks nice with it's second story ramp. I like the detail they are putting into the flat rides. The nighttime lighting on them looks really good and the way they have ramps leading to them like the real things is a nice touch.

I love the detail i have seen in this version of RCT3, the thing i find weird is the entrance and exits posted in the screenshots all over the web, and no scenery, i love building with scenery? Other than that, the flats look great and the Roller Coasters!
I gotta Question...Will there be old screams for RCT 2 and 1 or new screams??

My sig was edited because it was more than three lines.

Why would any of us possibly know that?

DC2Beltz3: Building with scenery? The website I linked to has tons of pics with buildings in them that are made out of pieces similar to RCT2. Though no one knows yet what the process will be yet. It will be different as there is now a separate "building designer" option and you can save entire buildings as an object. (Not just with a ride).

Did that answer your question? Or did you mean something else with the scenery comment?

CoasterCrazyBrutha (and Jeff): There are definitely new screams in RCT3. Whether the old ones will still be present or not (I hope not!) is unknown at this time.

Dude, unless you have the game, you don't know either!

(sigh) You obviously haven't done the research on this game that I have. If you had, you'd know there are new screams.

I don't make things up..never have never will. And my post reflect that. If I don't know the answer to something, I will say just that..as I did in the very post you are criticizing (about the old screams). Sorry you don't understand or realize that.

At least things were civil for a little while around here. Judging from the responses I have seen lately I'd say the tide has changed once again. And that's really too bad. Because this is a really nice place when people aren't being slammed.

Of course! It's obvious! When someone doesn't agree with you it's always obvious they didn't read your post or know whatever.

Get a grip dude... if you claim something in a public forum people will want you to back it up. If you can't do that, you will get "slammed." It has nothing to do with being a "nice place." That there's the Internet.

Spaz much? Try watching (listening to) one of the dozens of videos out there. Sheesh.
Exactly my point Zero-G. Thank you.
2 things:

1st, I dunno if it has been discussed previously and if the answer is known, but since there will be actual kids in RCT3, will there also be height requirements on some rides?

2nd, about the 1st park we see in this new set of pics, the park maker does not seem too talented, if we judge her/him by the park rating that appears on a few pictures... ;)

Here is something exotic:
A game site from Israel features three previously unknown pictures. One shows an intersting "X" recreation and another one has some buildings which I havenĀ“t seen before and a nighttime impression of a slingshot.

All in all it shows that RCT is all around the world. *** Edited 9/10/2004 10:32:00 AM UTC by tricktrack***

Call me crazy... but I am just looking forward to the fact that you don't need over sized "Entrance" and "Exit" "buildings" for each ride... or so it would appar from the screen shots.

Guess I am just simple minded like that.

Wow, the 'X' reproduction in that pic just makes me drool. Finally, I can make a *decent* looking 4D coaster!
Except, I hope they fixed the non spinning seats. The last video released of the 4D, The seats DID NOT spin which would be a huge disappointment.

All the videos have had their quirks. I'm sure they will fix it since a 4D's trick is the seat spinning.
I agree, that would be a major flaw, Seriously i don't think the game developer would pass something as huge as that! Seriously, the videos are only bits and peices of the game set to music, it can't show everything and all that happens in the game!
They may just not have had spinning seats because the person who made the coaster may have not taken the time to chart out each rotation. I'm more excited about this every time I see new screens!

There has been no mention of a height requirement anywhere I have seen. However, it has been said by Atari that different members of your group will want to ride different rides based on their demographic.

Well the good thing about that feature is at least that makes the park more accurate to real life scenario parks.
