More exciting than Tiger's baseball....

I want to read about my fellow CBuzzers opportunities for the summer.

1) What is the first park you have (or will) visit this year?

2) What are your special plans, like multi park/coaster trips this season?

3) What is the ride or park that most excites you for the summer?

1. Coney Island March 24th, 2002. Mamoosh was there....

2. Well, I just got back from a extended trip to Southern California - that was fun, I'm doing a small Stark Raven Mad trip (HW, PKI, and Indiana Beach), we're doing an extended Midwest trip, we'll be hitting plenty of Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks since we have passes, we're doing a 12 day long midwest trip this year, a 7 day trip to Florida, plus the "givens" Knoebels and Dorney Opening days, SFNE this Sunday, Lake Compounce Opening Day, Canobie Lake, and old favorites like Kennywood, Coneaut, Delgrosso's, etc. As usual, it will be a pretty busy summer - trying to break our 53 parks/79 vists record high of a past season....

3. Americana's reopening, Raging Bull, and Indiana Beach, not to mention always returning to Holiday World is a great thrill!

-Rob "never short winded" Vaccaro

1) Likely the Media Day at Indiana Beach for the Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain

2) My big trip this year is the second half of the ACE European Trip (along with a stop at PCW before I leave since I'm flying out of TO) and it's really the only multi-park excitement on tap. I'm still going to try to get to SRM (and his SFStL while I'm down there) but I'm still not sure that the money will be there. In the fall I'm planning to visit Montreal and to hit La Ronde while I'm there.

3) My most anticipated ride is Tonnere de Zeus far and away. I've heard this ride is in the league of Legend which is saying that it's the close brother to God in my book :-) On the steel side of things Expedition Ge-Force, the SFH Goliath and Euro Mir all look like they're going to be very fun as well.

* The Legend @ HW
* Superman: Ride of Steel @ SFNE
* Mondial Top Scan

I'm going to CP on the first Wed. that they are open. This is also going to be my most exciting trip since I haven't been to the park since MF opened.

I have several weddings to attend this summer and if the timing works out right I'll be in the neighborhoods of SFNE, SFGAdv and SFDL. I'm also planning to go to Kennywood for the first time.

If I can get to SFNE, SROS is definately my most anticipated coaster of the year. Otherwise I'm sure MF will suffice.

I have already been to PGA, SFMW, and SCBB I hope to get to SFMW becuase I am a season pass holder. In June, I will be hitting Orlando. Hopefully I can get to SFMM.

If they’re running, I’ll get ‘em. If they’re not, they should be.

1) IOA/Sea World FLA

2)I plan on going to my home park (SFGAm) multiple times, then I need to hit MA to see the changes, I'll hit Indiana Beach to try the Lost Coaster of Superstitious Mountain and it'll be my glorious return to Cornball. Next up is CP, somewhere towards the middle of July, and towards the end of July/beginning of August I'm going to SFGAdv and possibly SFNE.

3)The coasters I look forward to that I haven't already ridden are Superman:Ride of Steel/Batman: The Dark Knight, both at SFNE, and TLCOSM at IB.

**Edit: I'll also probably get to SFWOA the day after or before CP. Really looking forward to their woodies, B:KF and X-Flight.

1) SFoG, April 9th. Nice day - see thge TR section for more details.

2) No major trips planned this year, though I might visit my friend in Indiana, so Indiana Beach and LoCoSuMo might be on the agenda. I'm working on a trip for next summer involving a 3 week road trip to Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, King's Island, Cedar Point, Worlds of Adventure, Kennywood, Six Flags America, King's Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Carowinds, and SFOG. The logistics and $$$ for this trip will require some planning. :)

3) 've already ridden S:UF and Deja Vu, but I plan on riding them both a LOT more this season. :)

1. SFGA for the B96 Bash. I hate the music, but I love the rides.

2. BGT over Memorial Day (my cousin encouraged me to also visit PKD and SFA as if I don't go park hopping enough, but I don't have enough time to visit all). CP in late June.

3. ride: Deja Vu. I wasn't able to ride it last summer 'cause it broke down and that was the last ride of the night so we had to leave and I had to go back to school 200 miles away.

park: BGT. I've heard too many good things about it.

HEY CHAINDOG!!!!! Great to hear from you! I hope everyone has a great start to their summer plans.....if this weather holds up,that is, it's too damn cold right now.

The people with multiple park trips: Sounds like a ton of planning going on. Which is not only great for coasters, but also our suffering economy. Hope all is well.

We just split a trip to add two more parks. This should be hilarious. June: Americana, PKI, SFKK, HW, IB, Angola. July: Waldemeer, Conneaut, Knoeble's, Dorney, Dutch Wonderland, William's Grove, Hershey, Lakemont, Idlewild, Kennywood. July #2: SFDL, Waldemeer, SFWoA, CP. August: Mich Adv, SFGAm

Thank you IRS and a girlfriend who loves these rides as much as you do......

take care all.
