More Behind the Attraction at Disney

I thought for sure that this would be a one-and-done series, but apparently not

But that narration, tho

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

I always think I want a 14 inch churro, but it turns out 6 inches is plenty.

I mean, it's how you use it that counts.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Yes, they went so far as to point it out in the first season promotion.

Along with his ex-wife, Danny Garcia. They both co-own a production company that produces most everything he does and then some.

I find the series good for the Disney Mom set... but man the narration and fake set-ups, and drama are terrible.

Esp after the Imagineering doc by Iwerks is already a thing.

Just buy Disney's own Imagineering books, which are generally excellent and somehow never mentioned, except in the Imagineering Nerd sub-set.

I'm a member. I own most of those books.

I just worked my way through this season, and they toned down the narration a little. The Epcot episode was really good, and covered a lot of things that I didn't know. Mostly it makes me wish that I could walk through Spaceship Earth with the lights on.

Just watched the Nightime Spectacular episode (out of order, it was the most interesting to me) and I enjoyed it. It's one of the things that is distinct to Disney parks and really does cap off a long, fun day. I'm definitely going to watch some of the other episodes now.

I still think this was the highlight of my years as a Cast Member. Also getting a walk through of the Haunted Mansion ballroom.

I have been so busy at work that I completely forgot about the new season. Now I have something to watch tonight while spending the evening on the couch.

Brett, one of my highlights was assisting on an evac of Pirates and walking through the scenes My buddy worked custodial and has photos with the Presidents on the HOP stage (including an “I’m not a crook” pose behind Nixon). He also got to stand on the roof of Space Mountain.

"You can dream, create, design, and build the most wonderful place in the world...but it requires people to make the dreams a reality." -Walt Disney

I had friends and co workers that got to do all of the cool stuff depending on what locations they had rotated through over their years. I always wanted to get a lights on walk through on Tower of Terror. But in my 6 years I had the chance to do the full walking tours of Spaceship Earth, Haunted Mansion and Dinosaur. And I got to live one of my genuine childhood dreams and ride Space Mountain with the lights on. Plus I got to drive a safari truck for two and a half years (both on and off the ride path) and had a chance to do a few backstage animal encounters.

I don't often have the best things to say about my overall work experience at WDW. But I'll always cherish the special behind the scenes experiences I got to have and never take for granted what rare experiences I got to be a part of.

I wish I could have snapped a few photos in my Everest walk-down. The inside of that ride is nuts.

I take all that stuff for granted because I am exposed to it so often but every now and again, it does hit me when how interesting of a job I have. It really takes me to some unique places. Nothing beats the view from the very top of the Castle as the sun is coming up.
