Monday, last day for Cornball!

As you know, a few parks will be closing up for the fall this Monday (September 3rd. Man, this season flew!) Indiana Beach is one of the parks that will be closing it's door for the season. So, get down to Monticello, IN, and get your last chance of the year to ride the 'Express! I'll be there with my cousin. Gee, I hope it's not cold. Come anyways! ;)

I didn't realize that parks closed this early. I hate the end of the season because unless you go somewhere warm, you can ride coasters.

If not then you could sit in your recliner and pretend you are on a coaster ;)

I think that's why I have so many of those coaster dvds, I just sit there and ride Magnum in the winter time:).

:::sniff::: I just was at Indiana Beach on Monday, Aug 27 all day and had an ABSOLUTE blast! I really, really love that park. It was so dead, maybe 200 people in whole park. Rode everything multiple times, including Cornball about 25 times. What an amazing little coaster. It's such a top ten wooden coaster for me. Such a blast each and every ride.

Not to mention the fact my friend and I got stuck *upsidedown* on Chaos for seven full minutes at the end of the ride! One of the funniest things to happen to me all season.

It was a great way to wrap up a great season at IB, even though I only made it there two times. It'll be a long winter without Cornball, that's for sure!

Luckly I took a 2nd trip a few weeks ago. I love that little park, I always have a blast there. Well see ya at IB next year.

Darn that pesky little Cornball! Because of it, I will just HAVE to make the 4 and a half hour trip out to Indiana Beach to ride it again next summer. At least I can visit a friend who lives nearby while I'm at it (and introduce him to an awesome ride). I sort of feel like I'm disguising another "insane coaster trip" with the excuse that I'm going to be visiting a friend who I haven't seen in a long time, but why worry when I can have both?

May the Cornball have a good winter and be ready and waiting for me when I return!

Actually, Glitch, the Beach closes to the "public" this Labor Day Monday. The park has been bought out next weekend and then is officially closed.

I hate parks closing early. when I become rich and famous, (jk), Im going to have a summer house in ohio and winter housees in LA and Florida. Year round Coaster riding!

AW!!! I wanted to try to get to the park one more time to get on my favorite coaster!!! Oh how I love the cornball!! That is the funnest coaster I have ever ridden!! Well, next year I hopefully will get to ride it over and over!! My Fiance really loves this ride too as is shown in our on ride photo, check it out in my info,lol. Now, that is the way to ride a coaster, with the one you love hanging on to you tightly!! I LOVE IT!!
