Modernism and Disneyland's 50th

I saw in the latest edition of Modernism Magazine a spread on the artwork that Shag did to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. You can see it by clicking on the Disneyland link at

The artwork is quite kitschy and has that whole 50s feel. I like the Tomorrowland work artwork the best (and the Adventureland Tiki mug).

At first I did not think that Shag was commissioned by Disneyland. But by looking over the items for sale, I would think that if Disney did not approve or have something to do with Shag's artwork, that Disney would have shut them down almost immediately.
