I make fun of a lot of YouTube, but there are some folks actually making useful video. Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) was apparently invited to see this new omnidirectional floor tech.
If you're a technology nerd, what makes this interesting is that they haven't exactly figured out what to do with it, or how it might work in an attraction. And I think he makes a good point that there are also scale and manufacturing challenges to really make this useful.

I'd have a real problem with the delay/disconnect between eye on brain on this version. I'm not sure it will ever be close enough for reality for me not to experience nausea. But, I do wonder what the applications might be for people with disabilities. I see a lot of potential in that arena.
