Phoenix is weird in that it is SO consistent. It's always on maximum potential.
The problem is that the rider isn't always at his/her maximum. My only rides on Phoenix were near the end of a 13 parks in 10 days tour. I was probably desensitized to coasters in general (had been blown away by SROS/SFNE the day before), I was dead tired (we drove from Lake Compounce to Reading PA the night before--arriving at 3am thanks to NYC traffic), and we had stopped for the Yeungling Brewery tour before getting to Knoebels. We only rode each of the coasters a few times and decided to call it a day fairly early. Even though I loved the park and plan to return, I don't have specific memories of the Twister or Phoenix either one. They were good rides, but didn't blow me away. I know that I need to get back up there and experience them again and expect that they may climb a bit higher in my rankings when I do.
