Just a friendly reminder for those interested.
Voting for steel coasters runs through Jan 13th.

Voted. The instructions say to use the subject "2005 Steel Poll Ballot." I assumed that was an error, so I used 2006.

Since SROS at SFNE has dominated for 6 straight years isn't it a waste of time to have this poll? There hasn't been a steel coaster built to compete with it and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Right. Only the #1 coaster matters.

I'm curious to see how the new version of Space Mountain ranks. It's top ten material in my book and many others seem to dig it as much as I do.

Just filled out my 1st ever Hawker "Totally unbiased" coaster poll, and how about that, I honestly have S:ROS at SFNE at #4.

That's a great tool, but it actually takes longer than editing the text ballot once you know what you're doing (for me, at least) - and especially if you hold on to last year's and just rearrange/add to it.
Once you get over figuring the whole thing out and doing your initial vote, it just takes a few moments each year to participate.

I dont Think Hades should of been in the 2006 wood poll because it's a hybrid, and not a wood coaster. Let's put a wood track on Nitro and see if it win's the wood poll.

So that means Hades isn't a wood coaster, nor is the Voyage, nor is the Villain, nor are the
20 other coasters with wood track and steel supports.
Welcome to coasters 101, kid. The type of track determines if a coaster is steel or wood, not the structure. *** Edited 12/12/2006 8:55:33 PM UTC by PhantomTails***

Maybe next year, Mitch will add a hybrid coaster poll. :)
