Mistakes on rollercoaster shows

On Thrills Chills and Spills on the extreme rides show, I believe it said that Batman:The Dark Knight had seven inversions. It could've been my hearing, I dont have the greatest in the world.

Did you notice any other incorrect facts, or on any other rollercoaster show?

"Take me with you. I want to climb the 208' of Superman, hurl through five inversions on Batman, and freefall 20 stories on Scream. I don't throw up....I can entertain in long lines!!"

It did say it had seven.

On the Inside Seaworld Orlando show on Travel channel at the very beginning list off all the parks in the Orlando/Tampa area and say that one of them is a Six Flags park.

Inversion counts are WAY more subjective than you might think....shoot, BatWing and X-Flight had about a hundred apiece...;).
on one show I think they called a corkscrew a helix... Maybe I'm the dumb one though, I always thought a helix was a circular turnaround of some sort.

over 100 coasters in the works this year for me to ride... YES!

Why did they show Batwing going the opposite direction. I was like I tought the lift dropped on the left instead of the right and the inversions and turns went the opposite direction.
On MSNBC, they called S&S drop towers vertical coasters. I also don't know how many times I heard a show say Cedar Point has the most coaster and then others say Magic Mountain has the most. They also kept saying Magnum was the first coaster over 200 feet tall. Then they said Fujiyama was 235 feet tall and then said Goliath topped it the following year at 22 stories. How about Collossus is the world's second largest wooden roller coaster. NBC really needs to check those facts again.

My favorite is still the guy at SeaWorld Orlando when he misnames all of the inversions on Kraken. The funny thing is that he knows the names of all of them, just can't match them up to the actual element.

I liked how their was a little white line slipped in between the space for LENGTH: " | "3,650. It made it look like LENGTH: 13650.

Actually Valleyfair calls its Corkscrews on Corkscrew helixes as well. and the helix a horizontal loop. Go figure

Flume & Hydroblaster Crew for 2002!

They were probably calling it a helix because everyone knows a helix, the DNA strand's shape. Is whats strange is everyone I know knows what a corkscrew is, and I'm sure it's the same throughout the country. Coaster shows, like all shows, are wrong some of the time. Some shows are higher quality than others, but every one has an error somewhere. Watch shows to enjoy them and maybe learn something, but don't belive everything you hear.

Whats more reliable? Deja Vu, or RCT running without a error trapper?

On this show anout great lake escapes on Travel chanel they said Millennium force was 359 feet
I also heard seven instead of five. Since SFNE is my home park I almost went crazy.
On the Cedar Point Documentary Rerun, the guy on MF said it was 94 mph.
Last year they said S:UE was at CP in Sandusky, Ohio.

I remember that one.
Yeah, the guy that did the on ride for Kraken called every inversion a "dive loop." I thought it was kind of funny.

All this time I thought I was the only one who noticed the "Kraken Guy" naming all the elements incorrectly in the Sea World Revealed show.
