I heard about this Travel Channel show a little while ago but kept forgetting to check times for it. Looks like it is a Bar Rescue kind of show dealing with old or poorly run amusement parks. Has anyone else watched this or heard about it? I think if done properly, it could really get people curious about some old parks and maybe do a world of good. Thoughts?

It was sad to see, as I've never been there and could see the potential, but by the end of the program, I was hopeful for CLP's future.

I get angry with the way the media misrepresents Charmland. Sure, Lighty had a drug problem when he was hanging out with Charlie Sheen, but he checked himself into Celebrity Rehab and got cleaned up. They never tell that side of the story.
I visited Conneaut Lake Park in 2010; it was part of ACE's Coaster Con. I haven't seen this show.
My take away from my visit to the park was: it's a lost cause. There's just too much wrong, too much outdated, to be corrected. I wasn't happy about reaching that conclusion.
Or maybe I'm bitter because our windows at the Hotel Conneaut were nailed shut, and there was no air conditioning.
