I only spent 30 mins inside the park, for one quick ride on Xcelerator before heading to the LA Auto Show. Xcelerator's red train is in rehab. 10 mins with a one-train op.
A large area is fenced off in preperation for Silver Bullet's construction. Hammerhead is gonefrom the Boardwalk and laying the parking lot across Western Ave. No sign of Riptide yet.
Log Flume was closed to remove the Christmas decorations and for bi-annual rehab.
Th-th-th-that's all, folks ;)

Drove by the snow covered park. Park closed for season. Thats all. :)
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
So doesn't it seem odd that they'd begin construction now on a coaster slated for opening in December? Doesn't seem like a particularly large coaster. Think they might open it sooner? :)

Was the Walter K back? If not, any inkling when it might be?
Don't know how accurate the latest totally awesome Badnitrus pics are, but with the forest of support columns in the lake, doens't look like there's any room left for the old Walter K. to cruise.
Hope I'm wrong, but if worse comes to worse, hopefully they'll just move it across the street if the old lake that the Cordelia K. used to use is still there.
But he is *the man* when it comes to those renderings...:)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

The lake is still empty and will be for some time, however my sources indicate that after Silver Bullet is open the Walker K will return to service on a slightly different route.

"Any suggestions for season pass processing?"
Yes! The line to enter the pass processing building is up against a stone wall facing east. Most people process their pass in the morning before entering the park. Long line + slow processing + a stone wall + direct sunlight = agony!
You can process passes up until park closing...I'd suggest getting there in the early evening when the sun - and line length - has gone down.

Ron, er...Rob, to hell with you too! ;) I'd like to see you say that to my face. lol

I have a better one. I drove by the snow-covered Camden Park the other day and saw the SBNO TBolt Express again. The snow does a great job of hiding the rust. :-/
But I am not bitter or jaded from the crappy, midwest weather....not at all. Really. Seriously. ;-)
Rob my dear where DO you get these quotes and historic facts? Sweet!
