Arrived at 11:30, waited over an hour to renew my season pass. I really wish they'd come up with a better way to handle pass processing.

I only spent 30 mins inside the park, for one quick ride on Xcelerator before heading to the LA Auto Show. Xcelerator's red train is in rehab. 10 mins with a one-train op.

A large area is fenced off in preperation for Silver Bullet's construction. Hammerhead is gonefrom the Boardwalk and laying the parking lot across Western Ave. No sign of Riptide yet.

Log Flume was closed to remove the Christmas decorations and for bi-annual rehab.

Th-th-th-that's all, folks ;)

Grrrrr. You year rounders make me sick. :)

Wanna hear my SFGAm trip report? Here goes.

Drove by the snow covered park. Park closed for season. Thats all. :)

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Was the Walter K back? If not, any inkling when it might be?

I agree Chitown, heck I try to avoid I94 northbound this time of year...it's too depressing seeing all those coasters sitting lonesome and unused. :(

What, no fried chicken?? I guess it isn't really appealing until after you've run around the park all day.

So doesn't it seem odd that they'd begin construction now on a coaster slated for opening in December? Doesn't seem like a particularly large coaster. Think they might open it sooner? :)

All this TR does for me is remind me how much fun it is to hang with Moosh, Bass, and Tony Milano. Ahhhh... the memories that last a lifetime. :)

Nice Moosh! Beats my weekend of being sick in bed. Any suggestions for season pass processing? This will be my first year out here with a Knott's/CF pass, me so siked:-)

Don't know how accurate the latest totally awesome Badnitrus pics are, but with the forest of support columns in the lake, doens't look like there's any room left for the old Walter K. to cruise.

Hope I'm wrong, but if worse comes to worse, hopefully they'll just move it across the street if the old lake that the Cordelia K. used to use is still there.

Keep in mind that Kevin added the supports as he saw fit. He didn't have blue prints or anything.

Did I get his name wrong? I'm sorry! Hey, read some of my posts and you'll realize that I have *butterfingers*. Besides, Keith has received plenty-o-props from your's truly. ;)

By the way, any of ya ever listen to Cool Keith (a.k.a. Dr. Octagon?)

Sorry I'm getting to these questions late!

The lake is still empty and will be for some time, however my sources indicate that after Silver Bullet is open the Walker K will return to service on a slightly different route.

Yes! The line to enter the pass processing building is up against a stone wall facing east. Most people process their pass in the morning before entering the park. Long line + slow processing + a stone wall + direct sunlight = agony!

You can process passes up until park closing...I'd suggest getting there in the early evening when the sun - and line length - has gone down.

mOOSH

janfrederick, no worries, you're like the millionth person to get his name wrong -- and it's *always* Kevin, nothing else, like I've said before.

Ron, er...Rob, to hell with you too! ;) I'd like to see you say that to my face. lol

Okay, we're off to Columbus, OH to visit some peeps (hi Sean F!) and then to Chicago for No Coaster Con (hi No Coaster Con!). As when the TR's will be finished...ahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah, good one. ;)

Actually Joe, feel free to skip a day and talk about the *other* Rob instead. It would do wonders for my self-esteem, and would drive the WA Rob nuts! Oh, wait; too late on the latter...;);)

I have a better one. I drove by the snow-covered Camden Park the other day and saw the SBNO TBolt Express again. The snow does a great job of hiding the rust. :-/

But I am not bitter or jaded from the crappy, midwest weather....not at all. Really. Seriously. ;-)

Rob my dear where DO you get these quotes and historic facts? Sweet!

I find 'em on Something Awful or Entensity. I love those sites. They are weird like Rotten, but not nasty.
