Mine Ride Reprofiled???

The recent post about CP's Jumbo Jet led me to go to guidetothepoint.com to see the photos of this ride. While there, I started looking at ALL the great historical photos there, and I found one of the Mine Ride that I really don't recognize. This photo was taken in 1978, 9 years after the ride opened. In this photo, I see a short little camelback that I don't ever recall seeing anytime I've ridden the ride, and another drop looks different, too.

Was the Mine Ride ever reprofiled? It must have been drastically done so. Could this possibly be the result of when that kid fell out of it? If I think I'm looking at that picture from the right viewpoint (from the ramp going in to the loading station) the helix finale isn't even there! Am I just crazy or has CP changed the Mine Ride's layout since this picture?

Here's the address to see these pics:

That picture was taken from the initial lift hill. The ride layout itself remains relatively the same since it's opening.

That hop has always been there. The ride was never re-profiled. The photo in question was taken from the first lift looking left. from the lift it turns left, under the track, left some more, small hop, turn left again (the turn you see), over the track and down the "big" drop.

On the other hand, brakes have been removed and/or replaced throughout the ride.

OK yeah I see it...don't ask what I was thinking.
The whole ride comes together to me now.
Maybe the fact that the park was so undeveloped then threw me off.
